Our family had a wonderful experience!

The home is beautiful and in a lovely neighborhood. Carol, the host was attentive and gracious and even called when she couldn’t respond immediately to a text message because she was in a meeting. Would definitely stay there again!

GREAT House & Awesome Hospitality!

If you're looking to stay at this house, look no further, THIS IS the house!! This is my first VRBO rental, and I was optimistically cautious about the whole experience, but Carol saved me! My first request to book an was greeted by a friendly response from Carol. Upon arriving to our rental late at night, Carol was waiting there, to make sure we were comfortable and knew everything important about staying at her house. The listing was marked as checking in between 3-11pm and we showed up around 10:30pm and she was waiting for us to make sure we knew everything about the house and were comfortable. I was going to head to the store for some snacks and drinks, but Carol pointed out that she already had that taken care of providing a nice variety of snacks that we really appreciated and used throughout our stay! The house is very nicely furnished, decorated, and has great quality bedding all around, we had brought our own pillows just in case and didn't need them. The driveway was a little challenging to maneuver out of when we used the garage, but we got used to it after the first few times. The house has wifi and Roku? for video which I hadn't used before, but got used to pretty quickly. When we need a house in the DFW area, we'll be checking with Carol first!

I grew up in a small town in East Texas and moved to Arlington to attend UTA. After I graduated, I continued to live in the area. I currently live in Cedar Hill which is about 30 minutes away. I am retired from Verizon and manage my 3 properties full time. I enjoy travelling with my friends. My best adventure so far has been Melbourne, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand. I experienced my first Airbnb in Australia and loved it. It was centrally located to all the major attractions and the host was most accomodating yet not intrusive. My goal is to assist in making your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Why they chose this property

This property is dear to me because it was my first home that I had built in 1998. I like the fireplace separating the two spaces and its open so everyone can be together. I have 9 siblings and we love getting together, sharing meals and playing games and watching sports.

What makes this property unique

Its a family friendly neighborhood with a recreation center and adjacent park only a block or so away. Its very relaxing to take a walk in the evenings. Its wheelchair accessible with wide doorways. I try to keep decorations to a minimum to allow room to move around freely. It's a quiet cul de sac with many activities and restaurants only a few miles away. it's also a great location to access the main highways to Dallas, Ft Worth and Irving. You can't miss living here!
