Waking up with the Mediterranean glow filtering through the window is just the beginning of the experience at El Capitán. Here, the history of L'Escala's old town and the immensity of the sea merge into a single setting. Its majestic balcony, which looks directly out over the Gulf of Roses, quickly becomes our guests' favourite corner: the ideal place to watch the sunrise with a coffee or bid farewell to the day with a glass of wine, while the sun's radiance melts over the water.
This modern 90 m² refuge has been designed to enjoy the Costa Brava without giving up anything. The location is, without doubt, its greatest treasure. In less than two minutes, you can be feeling the sand under your feet on the main beach (180 metres away) or exploring marine life in the rocky cove located just 50 metres from the entrance. It is this type of privilege that allows you to forget the clock and let yourself be carried away by the rhythm of the waves.
Inside, rest is organised into three rooms designed for comfort: a main bedroom presided over by a king-size bed of 180 cm, a cosy double room and a third with bunk beds. The apartment has a main bathroom with a bathtub and an additional toilet.
Social life flows naturally between the living room - always at the perfect temperature thanks to air conditioning and heat pump - and a modern, fully integrated American kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary for your stay: dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator and all basic utensils, as well as small details such as coffee maker, hairdryer and iron.
Thinking of your total tranquillity, the apartment offers WiFi connection to share your moments and an underground parking space in the same building (suitable only for small cars due to access infrastructure). Moreover, we know that the family is not complete without them, so your pet is also welcome in this modern and functional home.

Our family stayed at the apartment El Capitan for a few days at the end of November. The place was perfect for our needs, with an amazing, waterfront location. The apartment was spacious and clean, and had all the necessary features for a family - washing machine, dishwasher etc. The parking garage entrance really is small - a Peugeot 2008 would not fit, but in November we had no problem finding close roadside parking!
The kitchen was well equipped, but a couple of extra wine glasses would have been nice! We also couldn't find any oven glove!
We enjoyed our stay at this apartment, it was very comfortable and had wonderful sea views, unfortunately the balcony does not get the sun apart for a short time really early in the morning so that was a bit of a disappointment, there is a small balcony to the back of the apartment which does get the sun but it has an air conditioning unit so really only space for 1 chair. We were there in March and the weather was really poor so had to have the heating on, there is an air/heat unit in the living room and one at the back of the apartment outside the two bedrooms and bathroom but not in the bedrooms, they had a couple of electric fires which we used to heat the bedrooms and there are also fans available for the warmer months. The one downside is the parking, although there is an underground garage it is only suitable if you have a small car, we have an Audi Q3 and it was impossible to get it into the garage, we tried but there is a pillar situated quite near the entrance and if you have a big car you cannot get round it so we had to park on the street which can be difficult at times as there are only a few available spaces outside the apartment block. On the positive side it is only a couple of minutes walk to the old town so really enjoyed being close to all L'Escala has to offer. Despite the few minor issues we really enjoyed our stay there and will definately return. Sam the agent was extremely helpful and responded really quickly via Whats Ap.
