overall the house was decent. The distance to everything is great. We liked the location of the house. The check in process was easy and the property manager was very friendly. Overall the house is older, which is ok,but the sofas and the bedding needs to be updated. The bedding and sofa fabrics just didn't feel fresh. I didn't feel very comfortable sleeping on them. The driveway was another major problem. We struggled to drive our sedan up the steep gravel driveway. Several times my husband had to get out and try to move the gravel around so the car could drive up. This needs to be fixed or changed somehow.

Nice place in the country
We spent most of our time visiting family in Asheville, so it was nice to come back to this comfortable home. The place was reasonably clean, but I think the blankets and comforters on the beds could use an update. The kitchen was awesome: large and well-equipped! All in all, a nice place.
The Morgan House was perfect for our little family's long weekend in the mountains. My two-year-old said he "loved his new bedroom," and we all were comfortable and cozy. The lovely property manager texted to make sure we'd arrived and found everything satisfactory. We would certainly consider staying here again when we return to the area!
Property was private without being isolated. Spacious and clean. Best thing was the open floor plan and a lack of things to get into which made it perfect for our li'l crib denizen. We could let him roam and keep an eye on him from almost anywhere in the house. Perfect for our purposes.
Was a great stay! Property was clean, house is roomy and we had no problems with the appliances or anything like that. Close enough to Asheville to reasonably Uber/Lyft into town. Though because its summer and the house is tucked in the woods a bit (a plus, feels very private despite having neighbors), we did have several dozens of new friends in centipedes hanging out on the floor. Harmless and I imagine a its only really during the summer, just sort of unnerving and we couldn't really walk around without at least our flip flops on. Otherwise a great, convenient stay!
We had a great time. The property was clean. The driveway is very steep and we did have a bit of a time with that, especially when we came home during a downpour. The view was disappointing, as we had none unless we went to the back of the house to get one.
It was very quiet and we really liked that. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was nice to have a grill.
Beside at check in and out, we really did not communicate much with the property manager, but I am sure that if we had needed anything she would have been available.
All in all a good experience and we really had a good time

Great House
We really enjoyed our stay. Being out in the country, we had thought there would be trails where we could walk and enjoy the great outdoors, but that was not the case. The house is close to the road and not on much property. That being said the house was great and in a great location for accessing Asheville and Hendersonville. We had a great time. Thanks

It was my Fall break with my family. And we found this place a perfect home away home!
Leidonna’s property met our all expectations about a home away home. It is close to all the landmark attractions in Asheville. The home is very well furnished with everything you will need and very cozy and homey! Beyond that , what really made us happy with is our hostess is such a warm thoughtful considerate person who was more than just being responsive! My mom left her phone charger in her room, and when l texted her about this, she responded promptly and assured me it was not a problem to get it mailed to us. She is just such a sweet hostess that you will feel that way without having to see her in person!

A charming cottage in the hills - just what we were looking for!
We really enjoyed our stay at The Morgan House. The scenic drive to the property was an unexpected pleasure and revealed new delights every time we took it on our numerous trips to Asheville. We spent our days in town exploring The Biltmore Estate, The Grove Park Inn, and the River Arts District, then returned home to prepare our meals in the spacious kitchen. We sat around the fire pit on the cool nights and made s'mores, spending quality time together in the comfort of a nicely decorated and updated cottage.

Charming cottage
We really enjoyed the yard & the house. The house was clean & pre stocked with basic needs. The blackberries growing around the yard made a delicious cobbler. We saw a rabbit every morning. Also we saw wild turkeys in the yard! The location allowed us to be in Asheville or Cherokee within a short drive. Plus it also close to the Blue Ridge Parkway which we love! The property manager is very helpful.

Cozy getaway
I have nothing bad to say about this home. It's the perfect get away spot right outside of Asheville that'll give you that mountain cottage feel you're looking for. The beds were comfortable and the living room was cozy. The kitchen was perfect and the fire pit was great for those cold nights and of course s'mores! The owner was super sweet and accommodating. Ill definitely be back!

Cozy, inviting, and clean!
This house was perfect for our family with small children. It was very clean, had a large kitchen, and a great outdoor fire pit for roasting s’mores. It is close to convenient stores and grocery stores. The owner is amazingly sweet. We look forward to coming back!

Loved it!
We loved this cozy little cottage in the woods! The location was beautiful and the house was so quaint. Close to downtown Asheville but far enough away to make you feel disconnected. So nice!
