Folly Beach is just over a mile away; historic downtown Charleston a short 15 minutes by car making this the prime location for enjoying the best the area has to offer.
This professionally decorated three story condo boasts large gathering rooms, a fully stocked chef’s kitchen, three spacious bedrooms, 2½ baths, a stunning balcony, a private elevator, a washer and dryer and a private garage which can easily accommodate two large cars. You will also enjoy the beautiful pool and pavilion just steps away from this home.
Look forward to fishing, kayaking or paddle boarding from our private community dock. There are public boat ramps nearby at Folly or Sol Legare ramps. This property also includes access to all Charleston County Parks during your stay, including Folly Beach County Park. Parking passes provided for guests at Folly Beach Pier.
Folly Beach offers professional-level golf courses, boat charters, fishing and bike rentals as well as numerous restaurants and shopping. There is also easy access to several grocery stores which are as close as a half a mile away from this gorgeous home. Close to some of Charleston's best restaurants and bars.

Trip to Folly Beach/Charleston for our daughters wedding

We absolutely loved our stay at Palmetto Paradise!! The condo is clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. My family also enjoyed the pool access, which was just steps away from our condo. The location was easily accessible to downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. We plan to stay here again whenever we come back to visit our daughter and son in law!

Great Property in a Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palmetto Paradise! The home was exactly as described and well-stocked, thanks to the owners’ thoughtfulness. The location made for easy drives to both the city of Charleston and Folly Beach. We especially enjoyed the use of the county park pass, which allowed us to enter the beach free of charge.The home was comfortable and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home. My family had a wonderful time. Quiet neighborhood and everything you could need in the house. The pool was fantastic, close to beach and Charleston. The Godiva chocolates and the wine trade was an added bonus.

Six weeks in paradise.

Owners welcoming and attentive without being at all intrusive. Some family visited briefly during our stay. It was so much fun to share with them this magnificent property and the Folly Beach/Charleston Low Country area we’re so fond of. I’m on oxygen when moving around, making the elevator a real plus. Highly recommend this property.

Truly Amazing Place

We had THE best time and experience with this VRBO. Townhouse is a lot bigger than the pictures and the space is so functional and well decorated. A true home away from home. There was never a time that we didn’t have what we needed. Connie was the best host and we already can’t wait to get back! Will stay at again and recommend to anyone who is looking for a trip to the Charleston Area!

We loved our stay at John and Connie’s condo and can’t wait to return! Their home was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. The beds are super comfy and we loved all the thoughtful touches like the chocolates, travel size soaps, lotions and hair products, and information on local beaches and attractions. The pool was wonderful and never crowded and the location was a quick drive to the beach. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the morning and evenings overlooking the marsh and watching the birds. I highly recommend a stay in this lovely condo!

A Welcome Break

We really appreciate John and Connie opening their home to our family. The home was fantastic. We really appreciated the cleanliness and all the amenities, including the welcome chocolates :-). We Can't Get Enough of Palmetto Paradise

Palmetto Paradise never ceases to make all of our vacation dreams come true. This was our 5th stay, and the consistency of cleanliness and comfort in this property are what keep us coming back. Connie and John are the most incredible hosts and have truly thought of everything to make your stay worry free. The property is beautiful. The marsh views are just breathtaking. The location can't be beat! Downtown Charleston is a short 15 minute drive away, and the beach is just over the bridge. We are SO sad every time we have to leave, and have made the BEST memories thanks to Connie and John's amazing hospitality!

Gorgeous Views and the BEST Home Away from Home We Could Ask for!

Palmetto Paradise is paradise indeed! The views are amazing and the furnishings are both beautiful and comfortable. We've stayed in many rental properties over the years, and this one surpasses them all in terms of attention to detail. It literally felt like we were staying in our own home, only on the other coast. We never had a moment where we needed something and had to rush out to the store to get it because it wasn't there for us. While we didn't use the elevator, we thought it was such an awesome amenity for people with young kids or those who are unable to use the stairs. The home's location is perfect for exploring all that the Charleston area has to offer. We can't wait to come back and stay again soon!

Our 4th Stay Here in Two Years Time--It's That Great!

We absolutely LOVE Palmetto Paradise! It's location is ideal, as you are close to the beach and downtown Charleston as well. You couldn't ask for a better spot when it comes to hopping around Charleston's neighborhoods. In addition, Connie and John are wonderful hosts who have thought of absolutely everything to make sure you want for nothing during your stay. The condo is beautifully decorated and is always sparkling clean. The furniture is SO comfortable. There's nothing worse than a vacation home with uncomfortable beds or living room furniture that makes it impossible to relax. This condo really feels like home! We've stayed in so many different vacation homes, and this is the only one we keep returning to because it really is just fantastic. My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Connie and John's place this past week. Everything about it was fantastic! The unit was exactly as described, very clean, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with any kitchen utensils you would need. The supplied linens, beach towels and beach accessories, and all of the necessities were very nice and clean. When you stay here, you are only 5 minutes away from Folly Beach, and 20 minutes from downtown Charleston. It is located in an area that is very quiet and peaceful for your time at the unit. An added and unexpected benefit was of the hosts supplying an access pass to Folly Beach - this includes free parking at the beach and access to restrooms and changing rooms. Both John and Connie were easy to communicate with, and always quickly replied to any questions or concerns we had. We highly recommend this unit.

We were fortunate to spend 2 wonderful weeks in Paradise! The location was perfect, it was close to the beach and restaurants but out of the traffic! It was definitely perfect for our Easter holiday. So much space!! Loved sitting out on the deck in the morning. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need!! This was by far the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. The garage was awesome. One day it rained so we played soccer with our grandson in the garage! The master bedroom was so comfortable. The beach chairs came in handy and the county pass was so convenient!! Everything was so well thought out, including the box of chocolates they left for us. The cutest was the black make up towels!!! What wonderful southern hospitality!! We would love to come back again!!! Thank you for 2 great weeks!!!

Palmetto Paradise for the Win Again! :)

We just returned from another perfectly amazing stay at Palmetto Paradise, and I can't say thank you enough to Connie and John for sharing their absolutely beautiful home with us. They have put so much work into making the home warm and welcoming. Everything was in perfect, immaculately clean order, just as it was the last time we visited in November. The beds were just as comfy as we remembered, and we were once again thrilled that literally everything we could possibly need during our stay was thought of and arranged for by Connie and John. One of our favorite things about the condo, besides its close proximity to all of the things we love in the Charleston area, is how peaceful and serene it is. What a blessing to leave the hustle and bustle of city life behind and breathe in the tranquility of lowcountry living! The marsh views are just stunning and I thoroughly enjoyed having my morning cup of coffee while marveling at God's beautiful creation right out the sliding glass doors. We are looking forward to returning to Palmetto Paradise again soon and can't imagine a better place to stay in Charleston!
