This apartment is large and comfortable. The beds are amazing and I slept so well. The terrace is stunning and roomy and comfortable. We practically lived on the terrace. Location is perfect to walk everywhere. Great restaurants close by - non touristy! I highly recommend this apartment.
Great location! Walkable to almost everything you’re looking to see/do in Florence, Italy. Very comfortable apartment and the outdoor patio was a plus! Was able to wash clothes and hang to dry on patio. Appreciated the air conditioning on the hotter days. Host responded quickly and was very helpful.
Great stay in the convenient Santa Croce area. We enjoyed the patio daily, and were able to buy groceries from the nearby store and cook many of our meals. Lots of nearby restaurants and shopping.
The location of this property was perfect for what we wanted to do while we were in Florence. Ettore was our property contact and he was extremely helpful and available for our questions with quick answers. The apartment was quiet, comfortable and as described.
We spent six nights visiting our college aged daughter in Florence. It was a great apartment in a great location just two blocks away from where our daughter was staying. It allowed all four of us to stay together. Would definitely recommend!
A perfect location & layout for our familyfriend visit to Florence, with AC and two showers to help us cool off during the heat wave. Easy walking to city center and across the river. Very smooth communication with the hosts (know you’ll have to arrange to pay tourist tax by wire transfer pre-visit or cash on arrival 6/person/night standard in Florence). They also provided a folding crib for our 15-month-old infant on our request. We recommend Macro & Nimoe’s place enthusiastically!
We stayed Sunday May 3rd through Saturday May 10th and this beautiful little apartment had everything we needed - including its proximity to Santa Croce, the Arno & Duomo. Everything is within walking distance. The kitchen was well appointed. The small grocery around the corner was convenient and we cooked in the apt several times. The outdoor area was a tremendous bonus! Nimoe was very accommodating with our late arrival into FLR as well.

Check in was welcoming and easy, all particulars explained regarding keys, AC, laundry. Apt was as photos depicted, ample size, patio helpful and neighborhood quiet. Drawback was cleanliness; stains on furniture, chipped and broken decor. One bathroom had very poor lighting, and a bulb out which made it worse. The mirror above sink was too low to use without bending, the toilet seat was loose and decor on the wall had a broken frame. This apt is in a good location and quiet. It just needsattention to cleanliness and guest-comfort.

Thanks but the apartment is renewed and clean, we have a professional cleaning team
I highly recommend Stefania’s Santa Croce Apartment. We would stay again with no hesitations. It’s spotlessly clean, central, beautiful, and really spacious.
Our family of 4 adults stayed here. Perfect location and central to most sights. A little cramped in size for 4 of us and it did have beautiful outdoor space though it rained off and on and was cool so never used it. Wifi worked very well ( important if you are on business). Beds were very comfortable and air conditioning was awesome to allow air ventilation . Could have used an extra small towel for the bidet. Showers were great with good pressure. Not enough windows for me but that is a personal preference.
Excellent location in Florance for restaurants, shopping and tourist sites
We were a family of 3: 2 adults and 1 16 year old.The home has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a living area, kitchen and great patio. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain, so didn't get to use the patio, but under normal times, it would be wonderful. There is a grocery within a 10 minute walk. Lots of great restaurants/bars and good shopping. A short walk to the famous bridge.
Bad bad bad hosts. They refuse to give you a phone number after booking. We only had problems there. We waited outside in the cold for 35 minutes to get in despite messaging twice to confirm our arrival time. We also advised we needed two sets of keys. We only received one but were told someone would come the next morning. When they didnt arrive they told us to get more cut! But the worst problem the heating in December remained at 19 C and they ignored all messages asking them to please fix as we were so cold we had to stay out of the apartment until we went to bed. We strongly advise you not to book this place.

It's really ridiculous to read this review, we tried to help you in every way but you didn't even give us the chance to enter when you were in the apartment.
The apartment was charming. And very good location to walk to all the attractions. There was a few problems with getting hot water a couple of times. And the shower glass door doesn't close all the way so the floor would flood. We would have appreciated more than one towel per person. But overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Thanks!
We ll check the things that you re saying, also we provide the first forniture of sheets and towels as specified but we bring you new ones also :)
The property was exactly as advertised, and it was plenty big for our group of five (3 adults and 2 children under 5). We loved the terrace and ate lunch out there many days! The location cannot be beat - the walk to Santa Croce is less than 5 minutes. The property manager was very responsive and helpful during our unexpectedly late arrival and a hot water issue. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience.
This was the perfect home base for our busy trip in Florence, offering a cozy, charming space for us to unwind at the end of the day. Comfy beds! And it was great having two baths for our trip with our two young adult children. Didn't use the kitchen much, but it is pretty, as is the lovely patio. There were some stairs, but it wasn't very far to walk up to the apartment. Even though this is so close to Santa Croce and centrally located to many sights and restaurants, it was VERY QUIET which was a great surprise. Would definitely stay here again!

Okay
The place is cute and is spacious. It was in an decent location that is walkable to most disired locations. There are a few too many decarations that caused the place to be dusty. The advertisment says parking available which meant find your own parking garage.

Thank you! But it is clearly written that parking is available off-site and for a fee.
This was a great space with comfortable and quiet neighborhood. The included A/C was very helpful and we took advantage of all the laundry facilities. We were familiar with using coffee percolators, but this one was broken and our child got scalded (he's okay now) but it might be time to upgrade the coffee pot. It did seem like the hosts had listened to previous guest requests for new kitchen goods, because the lovely kitchen was well-stocked with all kinds of kitchenware and there was ample seating around the apartment and on the patio.
And for other guests, just be aware the positives and challenges to the Santa Croce neighborhood--you are a solid 15 minute walk from the tourist center of Florence, but that's also why it's nice and quiet. So if you're looking for a quiet getaway in a cozy apartment, this is it!
Host should provide written instructions in English for the operation of the washing machine. Garbage bags, laundry soap, hand soap should be provided. There should be written instruction and directions to the closest garbage disposal.
There was garbage left from the previous guests that had not been removed.
Insufficient crockery. Needs more soft seating. One couch is not sufficient for 4 people to sit comfortably. It needs another couple of soft armchairs.
The apartment is lovely and the air conditioning was appreciated. Location is excellent.
the location was great and the apartment was OK but not very clean (bathrooms). the host was very unhelpful. After we were set to go, the host sent an email with a list of things we had to do. I had questions about them and it took two months and a call by me to VRBO customer service to get the host to respond to my questions. We were told we had to pre-pay the room tax prior to arrival via wire transfer or Paypal. Wire transfer was very expensive and we do not have a Paypal account. We have stayed many times in Europe where this tax is required but have always paid it directly to the host upon arrival. We never saw our host; communication was only via email. We had to scramble at the last minute to make the payment. We stayed for 11 nights and were left with 2 rolls of toilet paper, no soap (an empty body wash bottle), no paper towels, kitchen garbage bags, and no instructions on where to put the garbage. They offered no refreshing of towels even for such a long stay.
