Beautiful characterful home in the centre of Stamford. Secure parking a bonus. Cottage had everything you needed for your stay. Communication with Lynette was excellent. Welcome gift was a lovely surprise. Will definitely look to come back

Stayed August Bank Holiday, Plenty of room for 2 adults and dog. Perfect location, 10 minute walk to the centre of Stamford and all it has to offer. Lovely space, really comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and nice outside courtyard. Secure parking. Highly recommended. Friendly, easy and helpful communication to make check in easy. Thank you!!

A perfect property in the most perfect location for Stamford with the added bonus of gated complex and parking.Walking in is such a wow, the high ceilings and top quality appliances in the kitchen. The bath was the perfect place for a nice cold bath to chill out after a day of walking around the idlic town in 34 heat. The property and town will not disappoint.

Another lovely stay at Anvil bungalow. Ideal position in Stamford with secure parking and close by to centre. Beautiful comfortable bungalow which is dog friendly and just a short stroll away is a park ideal for dog walking. We would not stay anywhere else now when visiting Stamford

Lovely bungalow in a central location with two parking spaces. Easy walking distance to high st, shops, restaurants and theatre. Three adults stayed and we were all happy with it and would stay there again if visiting Stamford again.

Well-Appointed Home in a Peaceful Location

We had a wonderful weekend at this property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The location is ideal—quiet and relaxing, yet conveniently close to everything Stamford has to offer. The house itself was spotless and very well appointed, with all the amenities we could have asked for. From the comfortable beds to the fully stocked kitchen, it’s clear the owners put thought into making sure guests feel right at home. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the overall cleanliness and comfort of the space. We loved Stamford and would happily return to the house for another stay. Thanks again for a great experience!

Very well located place for everything in Stamford

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in July. Lynette let us in early on the first day and we were allowed to stay a bit later. This is really appreciated when there’s no one staying just before or after. Some of the access and departure times are still as bad as during Covid! The bungalow is in a lovely quiet gated development within easy walking distance of everything in Stamford town, including Waitrose. The 2 parking spaces are a great addition. The bungalow is very well equipped. Hot water was good and the main bedroom didn’t get too hot even though it was very warm when we stayed. The little courtyard is lovely too. We would definitely stay here again.
