Perfect cosy winter break
Lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable, ideal location a short drive from Stow and other villages, nice thoughtful touches throughout, highly recommend
The cottage was a comfortable home-away-from-home for our Cotswolds weekend. We were appreciative of the welcome basket with crisps and sweets, the comfortable beds and warm duvets for the cold nights, and most especially for being dog friendly! The location was perfect for the travels we planned, and we hope to stay there again.

Perfect stay at Mulberries
The cottage at Mulberries was perfect. Plenty of room, a kitchen stocked with all the utensils you need for a long stay, a beautiful back garden, and a wonderful location for exploring the Cotswolds and getting around for day trips (we visited Oxford). Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Fabulous location
A few mixed feelings. Some lovely furniture pieces and very comfortable upstairs with good size rooms and very comfy beds and lovely bedding.
The sofas were uncomfortable and to be fair need to be replaced. The oven was very poor with the lower oven not working. The dining table is unsuitable for 5 people dining around it. As its a dog friendly cottage it would be more practical to have vinyl or laminate flooring rather than carpet.
There were lots of books and it was very cosy. We did very much enjoy our stay and the owner was very kind to us. The village local pub closed for refurb but not too far to the next village or into stow.

Another lovely stay at the Mulberries
This is our second stay in this property.
Whilst it isn't the usual quintessential Cotswolds cottage that we've previously stayed in,The Mulberries is a lovely alternative.
The cottage is in an excellent location for visiting much of the Cotswolds area, it has a lived in feel with quirky niknaks and objects around the property.
The beds were all very comfy with lovely white bedding, and the chairs and settee in the sitting room were equally comfortable.
The downsides are that the property has no dishwasher, and only one bathroom, though it does have a separate downstairs WC.
We really enjoyed our stay here and felt completely at home.
The property is situated in a quiet location with good walks both from the property and nearby
Our 2 spaniels were equally happy and loved the fur bean bag for their use.
We love the Cotswolds and have booked with Stay Cotswolds on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed.
We hope to book again in the future.

Beautiful cottage, lovely and clean
The Cottage was very clean and the large bed was Amazing so very comfortable, I have severe Arthritis and herniated discs, and I had the best sleep, better than at home. The furniture in the living room for me was too low with my problems, but it was a lovely break away for us as we lost our Son this Christmas Eve just gone, so for us it was perfect, just wandering around the pretty villages, and towns,
Thank you

Lovely house in a lovely location
Nice house with clean white bedding. The fire was lovely and the welcome goodies. Lots of space and plenty of walks (particularly liked the walk to Kingham). Good value for money. The two pubs close by were also nice.
My only constructive criticism would be there's a lot of nik naks in the house (sombrero, teddies etc) which are just not needed and make it feel like you're in someone's home opposed to a rental home.

We are pleased to know that there are plenty of walks from the property and you enjoyed walking to Kingham. We look forward to welcoming yo back to the Cotswolds soon.
We loved our stay in this adorable village. Home was comfortable and had everything we needed. Only two things would have made our stay better. 1. fans were provided. It was very hot and made it impossible to sleep. 2. For a three bedroom house there should be enough chairs and table room to eat at. There was one small table and only 4 chairs provided. Otherwise lovely stay, thank you. Would recommend.

Cosy stay at Mulberries
We had a lovely stay at Mulberries during the Easter break with our teenagers. The cottage was quite quirky with lots of books and ornaments!
The beds were very comfy with white linen and colourful throws making it feel very homely. The location was good for all of the Cotswolds villages and we especially enjoyed the pub being such a short walk away!
The cottage would benefit from a full set of matching plates, bowls, cups etc. There was not a full set for four of us to use. The table was not very suitable for a cottage made for 5 people, it was very wobbly and small so we struggled to sit down to eat together.
A lovely clean and tidy house with a delightful garden to sit in, the games were very welcome too! The fireplace made the cottage very cosy during the chilly evenings. All in all a very cute place to stay.

Our Second rental in Oddington
A nice home in a good location but not up to the standard we usually expect.Needs a refresh now.Firstly no handrail on the stairs to the first floor, which I believe is illegal and will certainly lead to an insurance claim if someone has a fall.
No dishwasher or even a microwave or a washing machine. To be fair the description never said they has any of these.I must read more closely for future bookings. No ]gas for the BBQ but the booking said there would be after Easter. It needed a very good clean as well.No cushions for outside furniture.Pans well past there best and not many matching plates .Blinds in our bedroom constantly catching on window handles,a nuisance
No where near our standard which is set bt Rural Retreats.
Would not book again

Thank you Brian for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay at Mulberries. We are pleased to hear that you found the home to be in a good location, however we are sorry to learn that certain aspects of the property did not meet your expectations. Your comments have been shared with the property owner, who has taken them seriously and is acting on them as a priority. A handrail will be installed to enhance guest safety, which is of the utmost importance to us. The owner apologises for the lack of communication regarding the gas BBQ. It has recently been removed from the property and will be replaced with a charcoal BBQ shortly. While the property is not advertised as having a dishwasher, the owner is considering adding one later this summer. We would also like to confirm that the property is equipped with a washing machine, microwave, and cushions for all outdoor furniture, which can be found in the utility room located just outside the back door to the left. The property manager will replace any worn pans or crockery and repair the blinds in the bedroom. The property manager’s contact details are provided in your welcome email in advance of your stay and they are always available to assist with any questions or concerns during your stay. We hope you will return to the Cotswolds again in the future and thank you once again for your valuable feedback

Comfortable property in lovely location
A more modern property than our usual stays but still quite quirky. The kitchen was a decent size with plenty of worktop space and a good sized fridge, however it did lack a dishwasher. Off this was a good sized enclosed garden, which my dogs were happy in. A nice sitting/ dining room, the settee and chairs though slightly worn were comfortable and the dogs loved the fur covered bean bag left for their use.
There were lots of books throughout the house as well as games and DVDS ( though we didn't see a DVD player).
The beds were comfortable and had lovely white bedding on.
The bathroom was clean and very nice ,the shower over the bath but still a decent size shower head.
There were lots of interesting ornaments throughout the property and plants in several rooms which gave a homely feel and less of just a holiday property.
The few draw backs were the bottom oven didn't work too well though there was a top oven so we did manage, there were no oven gloves which I do think should be addressed , and no dishwasher ( which we probably missed when booking)
The property was warm, comfortable and in a fabulous location with lovely walks from the village and within a few miles of many lovely interesting places.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and through staying in this village discovered many smaller , beautiful villages, less well known villages we hadn't visited before.
There are also 2 good pubs in the village itself and several more with a 3 mile radius all serving good food.
A really good base to stay.
We have used Stay Cotswolds in the past and would always use for stays in the Cotswolds and recommend to all my friends and family.

Lovely house
Mulberries is a lovely house, beds a really good size (and comfy). Excellent shower.
Kitchen had everything we needed and lovely to have some milk in the fridge and treats for when we arrived.
Dining table was a bit small for 4 people so would be better if it was a bit bigger.
We visited in February so as it was too cold to be outside much so we stayed in and enjoyed some of the games from the cupboard.
Good location, easy to find and perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds.
