Host was not communicative leading up to our state, which was a concern, since other reviews said the same. I reached out to the host on the day of arrival asking about check-in, and received a text back through the app about an hour later cancelling our stay. She claimed it was due to a broken water pipe, however, did not reach out proactively. I'd avoid this apartment, the host seems shady.

The apartment was beautiful and, as described, in what appears as a safe neighborhood! There was a Starbucks close by. Beds were comfortable. Easy to catch Uber and near attractions.The issues we had were 1. reaching the contact- took weeks or months for them to respond. 2. asked well in advance to be able to drop off our luggage a couple hours early. They agreed that would be fine only to arrive and find out the guests that were to have been out by 11:00 had permission for late checkout! Now the apartment would not be ready for another 4 hours! 3. the washer was not functioning properly. We were not told and spent several hours waiting for a reply. It seems the washer door was broke and we could not open it to get our cloths out! They finally came and showed us how to get it open with a strap and a lot of muscle.
