The British Corner is set inside a private villa in the Flaminio district, a residential area of Rome where daily life moves between local markets, small bistros, bicycles and 1930s buildings. The loft hosts up to 3 guests and suits travelers who want to experience the city at a calmer pace while staying close to the historic center.
The interiors keep a British soul shaped by brick walls, original floors, vaulted ceilings and vintage details collected over time. The living area includes a fully equipped kitchenette with island, smart TV and a single armchair bed. The sleeping area features a double bed and a full bathroom. The private garden becomes part of the daily rhythm, from outdoor breakfasts to late dinners after a day in Rome.
The house does not have air conditioning, though the thick walls and historic structure naturally keep the rooms cool during warmer months. Tram and bus lines connect quickly to Piazza del Popolo, MAXXI and Auditorium Parco della Musica. A place suited for couples or small groups looking for character, quiet and a more local side of Rome.

Our stay here in Rome was absolutely phenomenal. The host met us at the doorTo walk us through the process of basic needs and locking the doors. The neighborhood was so incredible. So quiet, a perfect retreat outside of the city and hustle and bustle. This spot was comfy and easily accessible to everything we needed. We walked to all the major spots and it was an excellent day. Also the cafes and restaurants on the street are all fantastic.
It was perfect for us. Our son was graduating from school. Walkable distance in a great little non touristy neighborhood. Only thing of note was that the apartment was not nearly as bright and cheerful as it shows in the pictures. It was fine though. The team was very attentive too. Would recommend
Where do i start? The pictures and the descriptions is definitely nit what you see or get. First off there is no separate living room and bedroom as shown in the pictures and describe in the description. There is no couch. The picture that they show with the colorful houses in the street, you don't even have access to that. That is just for show. It states that there is a separate bedroom. That is not true. That was the whole reason why we picked this place. The bedroom is the living room. Shower drain slow. You have to pretty much take the shower drain stopper out to allow the water to even go down or it would continue to build up on your feet. The hot water do not get really hot. More like lukewarm. We lost power for half of the day and had to leave just to go use Wi-Fi. They did not even provide us enough toilet paper. Be really careful about the spiral stairs. The entire time we were there it rained. So it made the spiral stairs very slippery. Very unsafe. Also it was cold sometimes. Did not know how to work the heat. You could not really adjust it to turn it up and down. They only provided two towels and no wash rags. Not sure who they are used to having stay there. Maybe people who dont use wash rags to clean face and body but we like to wash our face with a wash rags and was unable to. Do not drive a vehicle. Parking is HORRIBLE. I swear they never go to work over there. Parking stayed filled at all times. The only good thing about that place was the restaurant near by

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations.
Regarding the layout, the apartment is a loft-style space and the description and photos aim to show this configuration as clearly as possible. The bedroom and living area are part of the same open space, which is typical for this type of property.
For the shower and hot water, we wish we had been informed during your stay so we could have intervened immediately. The drain and boiler can be checked quickly and our team is always available to assist when guests report an issue.
The temporary power outage you experienced unfortunately affected the whole building and was outside of our control. As for heating, it is centrally managed and we are always happy to explain how it works if guests need assistance.
Regarding supplies such as toilet paper and towels, we provide a starter set at check-in and are always happy to bring additional items when requested.
Finally, the spiral staircase and the street parking situation are typical characteristics of historic buildings and central areas of Rome, and we try to describe them as accurately as possible in the listing so guests know what to expect.
We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the experience for future guests.
