Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry the cleanliness of the floors did not meet your expectations upon arrival. Prior to arrival, you requested an early check-in. Although we initially explained that our cleaning team needed adequate time to prepare the property between guests, we asked them to expedite the turnover to accommodate your family and provided a complimentary early check-in. When you brought the floors to our attention, it was still before the property's scheduled check-in time. We immediately offered to have the cleaning crew return and address the floors and any other concerns before the normal check-in time, but you declined the offer. We certainly understand that after a long day of travel you preferred to settle in, but we were ready and willing to correct the issue immediately. We would also like to clarify that before booking, we had extensive conversations by phone and in writing about the property's unique two-building layout, including the studio configuration and bathroom access. These details are also shown in our listing photos and walkthrough video. We understand this layout may not work for every family, which is precisely why we make an effort to clearly disclose it before booking. Regarding the beds, mattress comfort is subjective, and we are sorry the studio twin beds did not meet the preferences of two members of your group. The property provides sleeping accommodations for up to 10 people, although we limit reservations to 8 guests, giving families additional sleeping options. We believe in making things right when an issue warrants compensation and have done so for guests when appropriate. In this case, we immediately offered to correct the cleaning concern, the studio layout was accurately disclosed before booking, alternative sleeping options were available, and the studio continued to be used during the reservation. For those reasons, we did not believe a refund of the studio was warranted. We appreciate your positive comments about our yard and take all guest feedback seriously.
