Welcome to our beautifully renovated 2-bedroom cottage, perfect for a cosy getaway and accommodating up to 6 guests! Enjoy a relaxing evening in the lounge, which features a comfy sofa bed, or whip up a delightful meal in our inviting kitchen diner. Step outside to bask in the sunshine in our lovely south-facing private garden.

Nestled in the charming village of Wheaton Aston, you’ll find two dog-friendly pubs nearby, including the wonderful Hartley Ams, where you can savour some delicious food. Take advantage of the lovely outdoor areas that overlook the scenic canal. Don't forget to visit The Coach and Horses for a drink and a chat with the locals!

Wheaton Aston is a delightful spot for leisurely walks along the Shropshire Union Canal and through the beautiful countryside. You’ll find everything you need within walking distance, including a Spar convenience store and a newsagent.
St. Mary’s Church is a lovely sight within the village square, adding to the warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Conveniently located about 9 miles southwest of Stafford and 7 miles west of Cannock, this little gem is right beside Bridge 19 of the Shropshire Union Canal. With easy access to Stafford (10 miles), Cannock (11 miles), Telford (12 miles) which provides great walks up and around the Wrekin, and Shrewsbury (29 miles), it’s the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. Come and enjoy a peaceful retreat!

Gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
All the washing up is finished, and the dishes are neatly put away.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
When need to use the sofa bed there is an additional fee for linen. No stag party or hen parties on the property.
When 2 or more pets there is an additional fee and need to talk to owner Deborah Howard.
Additional guests need to inform host with their details like how many, name, age, gender and relations to the initial Guest.

The property was in great condition and was well equipped with everything we needed for the duration of our stay. A couple of local stores ensured we had easy access to buy provisions. Two dog friendly pubs within a 5 minute walk. Great walks around the area kept the dogs exercised.

Short stop in Wheaton Aston

Whilst walking the "Staffordshire Way" we needed an overnight stay, the Bowling Green Cottage was perfect, the house is fantastic and Debbie the host was incredibly helpful.
