Upstairs, you’ll find two well-appointed double bedrooms, each designed with comfort and relaxation in mind, these charming rooms provide the perfect sanctuary. The recently renovated bathroom features a modern shower, ensuring a refreshing start to your day.
One of the best ways to explore the area is by bus, a short walk up the hill takes you to the town with its array of shops, restaurants and pubs, you can walk to the nearest supermarket which is at the bottom of the hill where you will also find a picturesque boating lake. There are plenty of options for walking, a favourite is from the car park opposite the boating lake towards Penrose House, Loe Bar and eventually Porthleven.
Helston is well known for its annual Furry Dance in May and is an ideal base for discovering Cornwall’s breathtaking landscapes and stunning coastline. Just a short drive away, the Lizard Peninsula awaits with its rugged cliffs, rare wildlife, and diverse plant life, head west to Land’s End, the country’s most westerly point, and take in the spectacular scenery along the way.
A stop at Marazion is a must, where you can explore the enchanting St Michael’s Mount, a tidal island featuring a medieval castle and beautifully landscaped gardens or just enjoy time on the long stretch of sandy beach.
