Sandpiper has been created from the careful conversion of a very grandly designed 19th century stone-built farm steading. The cottage was part of the world-renowned Cragside Estate, now owned by the National Trust.
The cottage is perfectly located to explore the local landscape (being on the edge of Europe's largest designated Dark Sky), as well as being a base to see Northumberland's attractions further a field (Kielder, Alnwick Castle, Bamburgh Castle, Seahouses, Amble, Hadrian's wall).

About the host
Your host

Me and my family love being outdoors and spending time in nature. We've cycled and camped around Japan, so we really appreciate a warm bed for the night, when we've been out in the elements all day! We strive to make Sandpiper a warm, welcoming home from home for our guests and hope you enjoy the Northumberland countryside as much as we do.
