The Shepherds Snug - Powerstock, Bridport

One of a trio of bespoke handmade oak shepherd's huts, The Shepherd's Snug is tucked way in a beautiful valley setting, and is located on the edge of the picturesque village of Powerstock. Ideal for those seeking relaxation, with a private hot tub to enjoy, the setting is magical, with the occasional nosey ponies and sheep popping up to the fence to say hello, or the Kunekune pigs Binky and Bonny as neighbours.

The cosy accommodation offers a comfortable 5' king-size bed, a well-equipped kitchen with an induction hob, oven, sink and fridge. A log burner which is ideal for cosy nights in. The en-suite shower room has a rainfall shower, hand basin, WC and a heated towel rail. The accommodation has central heating to keep you toasty at all times.

Outside, in addition to the sheltered and screened hot tub deck, you will find garden furniture and a fire pit offering the ideal setting for enjoying alfresco meals, and perfect for star gazing on clear nights. Head across the footpaths in front of your holiday retreat and within a short stroll you will find a pub in either direction, and on your travels you might see deer, hedgehogs, or hear birdsong or the hoot of an owl or two.

Ideally situated for enjoying the special surrounding Dorset countryside, with Eggardon Hill Fort and Powerstock Common nearby, you are also close to the popular and vibrant town of Bridport. For trips out the Jurassic Coast, West Bay, Charmouth and Lyme Regis are all just a pleasant drive or cycle away.

The sister huts of The Warren and The Nest can be also be booked, subject to availability.
