About this property
Rare Single Family Bungalow 1 Block From Beach!
Welcome to our new home! You will love the old school beach house feel of this spacious arts and crafts style bungalow. With a large yard for your kids and only a block to the beach and boardwalk, it is the perfect private and quiet place to bring your family!
The large open living and dining area give you plenty of room to create lasting memories of your Wildwood vacation. Relax and enjoy an adult beverage on the front covered porch or sit in the enclosed sunporch porch and read a book. With 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, there's enough room for your family to spread out while enjoying time together in the main areas.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed. The "family" room has a queen canopy bed and matching bunk beds. The back right bedroom has 2 twin beds and the cozy 4th bedroom has a double bed. In addition, not counted in the bed count, the sunroom has a comfy single daybed with a pull out trundle. Perfect for napping or reading a book for the kids.
This single family home gives you the privacy and quiet lacking in a condo. This is truly a one of a kind gem in North Wildwood!
****** Out of respect for our neighbors, we WILL NOT rent to anyone under 25. No exceptions.

About the host
Hosted by Diane Fegley

While Rich is a quiet extrovert, Diane enjoys traveling. This house, our home away from home, satisfies both of our personalities but most importantly, our son loves our beach house. As a family, we enjoy quiet off-season time at the beach and are thrilled to share our home with other families during the season and on the occasional off-season weekend. We live in Bethlehem, PA where our family owns 2 brew pubs.

Why they chose this property
When searching to buy our family's dream beach home, we quickly tired of looking at cookie cutter condos where we felt we'd have no privacy and which lacked any substantial outdoor space for our son. We bought it from a family that had had it for 2 generations since 1955 although it had recently been a rental property for them.
At the time of purchase, we lived in a stone bungalow at home and were SO excited to see this craftsman style home come on the market. We instantly fell in love with its architecture and are thrilled to have the chance to restore its charm.

What makes this property unique
There hasn't been a single person that hasn't fallen in love with the character of our home. We are told it is one of the few remaining bungalows on the island and one of its greatest feature is the wrap around porch. There is nothing better than sitting and chatting with friends while listening to the sounds of the beach. It is just the perfect place to sit with a book or a glass of wine and watch the world go by.
We also LOVE our backyard. It is the perfect place for our son to run around while we can sit the picnic table and relax. We are looking forward to many a BBQ back there. The backyard also features a little playhouse for the kids, an outdoor shower and a clothesline for hanging towels to get that fresh air dry smell like grandmas!
The house has great historical architectural details like the columns with built in cabinet bases, the original doors and detailed door knobs and a unique metal kitchen sink cabinet too!
But honestly, you can't beat our location! We love being so close to the beach and boardwalk while being on a nice quiet street with mostly single family homes with quite a few with owner occupants. It is really a perfect beach environment with easy access to everything yet with the spacious, privacy of a home versus a stacked boxy condo.
