Welcome to our charming 3BR/2BA Downtown St. Augustine Guest House, tucked away on a quiet, tree-lined street in the heart of the nation’s oldest city. You’ll be close enough to walk to the action, yet tucked away enough to relax when the day is done.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
Leave the car behind and explore St. Augustine on foot. Francis Field—home to many of the city’s festivals—is just a two-minute walk away. Stroll to St. George Street, the Bayfront, Castillo de San Marcos, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, the Old Town Trolley, and some of our favorite restaurants, bars, shops, galleries, and historic attractions. When you’re ready for the beach, Vilano Beach is just a short drive away.

YOUR OWN PRIVATE RETREAT
After a day exploring the Old City, come home and unwind. Enjoy the enclosed front, side, and backyards surrounded by tropical landscaping, including lemon and orange trees. Fire up the gas grill, connect to the Bluetooth BOSE speaker, relax on the stone patio, or gather around the fire pit at the end of the evening.

A HOME WITH PERSONALITY
This isn’t a cookie-cutter vacation rental. The house is filled with color, character, and artistic touches, including hand-painted Sticks furniture, Shoestring Creations headboards, Mackenzie-Childs décor, and local artwork throughout.

You’ll also notice a bit of an obsession with mermaids, seahorses, and sea turtles. See if you can count them all during your stay!

We’ve spent years fine-tuning the house and thinking about the little things that make a vacation easier and more memorable. We love hosting and want this to feel less like a rental and more like your St. Augustine home away from home.

We have off-street parking at the side of the house for 2 cars. The public parking lot is a 5-minute walk. No parking on Loring Street.

We want you to feel at home and have provided you with a BBQ and a Fire Pit. Please clean up after use.

Wendy and I are professional entrepreneurs running TeamBonding, a fun and challenging corporate event company. We live most of the year outside of Boston in the town of Sharon, MA overlooking Lake Massapoag in our empty-nesting house. In 2021 we stayed in St Augustine from January through March in this house and we loved it so much, we bought another vacation rental just a few blocks away so we could come down more often.

We were busy in 2022 and early 2023 working on our dream reno project. We took an existing warehouse and turned it into an artsy industrial vacation rental. It's a combination of art and an industrial vibe!

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood because during a business trip to Amelia Island, we ventured on a one hour and fifteen-minute drive to St. Augustine while it was beautifully adorned for the Nights of Lights. We instantly fell in love with the town, and the fact that it was celebrating its 450th anniversary during our visit made it even more special. Before this trip, we were not even aware of the existence of St. Augustine. Intrigued by the charm and history of the place, we embarked on a house-hunting journey but couldn't find the right fit at first. Therefore, we decided to rent the Original St. Augustine Guest House on Hypolita Street until early 2020. Surprisingly, shortly after this rental, we stumbled upon and purchased the house on Loring Street, which we hold a deep affection for and are confident you will too.

You'll find no need for your car, as the convenience of walking to nearby destinations awaits you.

Inside, this residence features an exceptional open layout, recently updated with the finest furnishings and appointments. It offers a spacious and modern living space, complete with three comfortable bedrooms. The real gem of this property is the backyard, featuring a firepit and BBQ, perfect for outdoor gatherings and relaxation.

One standout feature of this property is its affiliation with the prestigious Serenata Beach Club. As our VRBO guests, you have the opportunity to join this exclusive club by completing a temporary guest membership form. The Serenata Beach Club offers a plethora of amenities, including three pools, an adult-only hot tub, a restaurant and bar, a fully-equipped fitness center, and more. It's a mere 10-minute drive from the house and is available for an additional fee. This membership can accommodate up to six people for a memorable stay of up to seven days.
