About this property
Peaceful pueblo home near the lake
A calm retreat from the busyness of the pueblo, this home is to relax in with friends, enjoying its different spaces at different moments of the day.
The pool terrace welcomes the morning sun (the perfect morning coffee spot!), and has a lovely view of the setting sun over the lake (a great place to spend the afternoon by the pool).
The front courtyard offers a lovely outdoor dining space under a jacaranda; the back courtyard a place to laze in the hammock for a siesta.
There is an echadero in the living room for relaxing, reading, enjoying with friends, and a cosy nook by the fireplace in the cooler months.
The fully-equipped kitchen and dining room have a local farm-house feel.
The master bedroom is luxuriously spacious, with a view of the jacaranda and the lake beyond, and whose ensuite bathroom has a double sink, a bathtub and a shower. The main guest room has a lake view, two small-double beds, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The courtyard bedroom has two single beds, and an ensuite bathroom with shower, which is otherwise a snug room to enjoy books / movies - guests need to specify the layout they prefer for their stay.
We're excellently located, near the entrance to the pueblo, next to the lake, and a short walk from restaurants and shops. We're a 10 minute drive from Acatitlan and Avandaro.
This is our home, and so we request no parties, and no more guests than the property allows for. Our preference would be for families with older kids. We are also in a residential neighbourhood so no loud music beyond reasonable hours.
