Super easy check in.Property as listed- great character building. Fantastic hot tub. Well equipped cottage.Excellent grounds. Comfy beds. Good value for money.
The hottub was perfect, very relaxing The kitchen was well stocked but some of the plates and knife’s and forks where a little dirty so had to be washed and no dishwasher tablet, one of the cupboards had lots of dead insects which wasn’t pleasant! The beds were comfy and the heaters helped! Beautiful peaceful setting, lovely location
Only thing i found odd. Was 4 adults , and only 2 big towels which we had to share for the hot tub, The hot tub was amazing. And the location was so peaceful .we loved it

Peaceful
The hot tub which wasn’t working, however paul replaced it immediately and we could therefore use it after 24hrs.
Peaceful non overlooked property just a shame it was open gardens onto the road so we couldn’t let our dog off, however there is a walled area where the hot tub is with seating

Liked: Location
Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Unfortunately, our experience was affected by a number of issues, beginning even before our arrival. Communication proved challenging I sent multiple messages before receiving a response to my queries or requests. Upon arrival, when I raised concerns, I did not feel adequately supported. I was surprised to be directed to contact housekeeping directly, as I would expect guest issues to be managed by the host.In particular, when I asked about the travel cot, I was taken aback by the response stating it should have been requested in advance. I could not find any indication of this requirement in the listing but again the host ignored me and my request to advise where this requirement was indicated in the listing. Similarly, when I reported an issue with the hot tub, I was again directed elsewhere before later being given a simple solution by the host. It was disappointing that this was not provided upfront, or that reassurance and direct support were not offered. The absence of a guest information book made matters more difficult, as there were no available instructions for anything in the property, in particular for operating the open fire or guidance on the hot tub (including that it should not be turned off when not in use). Because communication with the host was so difficult and when responded to you would be directed to someone else, an information book would limit any need for that
