Welcome to Chateau Renard, or for most of us "The House of the Fox".  So aptly named for the beautiful red foxes in the neighborhood.  The owners have a favorite that visits in the evening and they've even named her Roxy. She seems to enjoy the sound of the waterfall in the summers and lays next to the soothing water in the sun.  

This 3,149 Square foot mountain home is sure to fit the bill for your next vacation.  Within walking distance to ski access in the winter, hiking in the summer, and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the fantastic Colorado weather, it's no wonder even the foxes love Chateau Renard! Pull into the large driveway and park in the oversized garage.  Inside the home you enter into a custom mud room with antique barn wood cabinetry and spacious entry way to kick off the shoes and start relaxing.  On this level there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms as well.  There is a junior master suite with King bed and in suite bath with dual vanities.  There are two other bedrooms which share a full bath just outside the in the hallway.  One guest bedroom has a queen bed while the other has a queen bed and twin single bunk.  

Take a walk up the grand staircase and open up into the great room with antique barn beams and spectacular views! This is the heart of the home with a fully stocked kitchen, large dining space with wraparound views, and the living area.  There's plenty of comfy seating to gather around the wood burning fireplace and watch a movie on the big screen TV.  Off the living space is a powder bath and a bonus room with twin bed, TV, and play loft.  Behind the living room is the sumptuous master suite with King bed and sitting area with red leather chairs for that perfect cup of morning coffee while looking out at the mountains.  This room has vaulted ceilings with great wood beams for a spacious and relaxing feel.  There is a private deck off the master as well to take in our great Colorado weather.  The master bath has dual vanities, soaking tub, shower, and walk in closet if you decide to pack heavy! 

Back in the great room you can step out to large covered and open decks.  There is a dining set and gas grill for outdoor dining in any weather since it is covered.  The sun deck sits right next to the waterfall and in the summer months you can enjoy the peaceful sound of water as you let your cares slip away.  With so many places to relax, it will be hard to pick your favorite at Chateau Renard!

This property is also serviced by the new First Tracks free shuttle system. Click on the QR code in your welcome app and request a ride to the base area where you can ski or catch a shuttle down to town for shopping and dining. They come right to the property and it's FREE!

Offering clean and safe rental homes has always been our top priority. As always there is no need to come into our offices to check in.  Since the beginning we have had contactless check in where as a guest you go directly to your home and access the property with a code.  Iron Horse has elevated and will continue to place an emphasis on our cleaning practices and policies, along with procedures such as direct check in to limit contact and provide a safe vacation environment.

Highest Standard Cleaning Procedures

All of our vacation rentals and housekeeping properties are thoroughly and professionally cleaned between each stay. Here are some of the steps we take between each visit to ensure your home will be sanitized, clean, and disinfected.
-All of our cleaning and maintenance staff wear gloves and face covers while in our properties.
-All hard surfaces and high touch areas are cleaned with household disinfectant including doorknobs, handles, toilets and faucet knobs, light switches, handrails, remote controls, lockboxes, electronics, thermostats, game areas, furniture, kitchen cabinets and refrigerators, etc.
-Hot tubs are ALWAYS cleaned, treated and sanitized before your stay. If there is ever a question of cleanliness our crew is instructed to completely drain and refill the tub in addition to sanitizing. 
-All bed and bath linens are laundered on site and installed with care
-Our properties include hand soap, dish soap, and other approved disinfectants for your use
