The location of this home is spectacular. Situated in a quiet, serene neighborhood, it offers a very short walk to a breathtaking (though steep) beach access. While the interior is dated, we found it a fair tradeoff for the incredible proximity to the coast and the fact that the property is listed as pet-friendly.However, we had a very disappointing experience regarding our pets. We were charged an extra 125 after checkout for "ruined" sheets due to pet hair. As experienced travelers who stay exclusively in pet-friendly rentals, we have never been told that standard pet hair requires full linen replacement or is beyond the scope of a professional cleaning.More concerning was the owner’s communication, falsely claiming rules were sent via text that we never received. We respect home rules and would never have booked if the "pet-friendly" status was so restrictive. While we paid the fee to avoid a squabble, the tone and unexpected charges made for an unpleasant end to our trip. If you travel with pets, be wary of the "pet-friendly" label here.

Dear Leslie , in all these years we never had to charge anything regarding pets. Sheets covered by pet fur, its not acceptable. We dont prepare the house with sheets full of fur from another pet for you, and if we did you will not like it. It´s impossible to recover those sheets, and assure that they are ready for another guest, we dont take that risk. One thing is what we do in our own house, another is what we do in others houses, all about respect. Best regards
