In the heart of the charming village of Paradou, nestled among olive trees, cypress and the golden light of the Alpilles, lies Mas La Thèbaïde, an old house full of soul and warmth, once inhabited by Charles Henrie Riou, known as Charloun Rieu, a 19th-century Provençal poet.

On the ground floor, a beautiful living space combines the lounge, dining room and open kitchen. It is a place to gather around a meal, a winter fire or an evening drink.

A bedroom (160 cm bed) and a bathroom offer comfortable single-level living, simple and elegant with direct access to the garden and the secure pool with an electric curtain.

Upstairs, three more bedrooms (one 160 cm bed and three 140 cm beds) welcome family and friends. A shower room and separate toilet complete this space.

Outside, a landscaped garden extends the house. Armchairs, sun loungers, plancha, tool shed... everything is designed to enjoy the fine days with ease. Located on the edge of the road, the house lives to the rhythm of the village: the passing traffic enlivens the surroundings without diminishing the charm of the place.

Paradou, a small, discreet and authentic village, where one savours the sweetness of life as much as genuine conviviality. There are superb places to eat, ranging from market cuisine to gourmet addresses, and a festive, warm atmosphere that animates summer evenings. Everything is done on foot, by bike, at your own pace. You can wander through the lanes and enjoy the proximity of Maussane, Les Baux-de-Provence or Saint-Rémy.
