The Old Parlour, a single-storey cottage, consists of a kitchen/diner with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and a sitting room with woodburning stove and TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite walk-in shower, twin, and bunk bed, serviced by a bathroom. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a front garden with lawn, children's den including a swing, a sheltered patio area with bar area, furniture, and hot tub, secure bike storage, and private driveway parking for six cars. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Return year after year to The Old Parlour. Note: Step up on the landing to bedrooms, please take care.

Dovedale and the limestone Churnet Valley are on the doorstep and The Manifold Trail is close by. There is easy access to many of the area's attractions including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Lyme Park (NT) as seen in TV’s Pride & Prejudice and the NT Ilam Estate. A great touring base for all the Peak District - and Alton Towers with its many rides and attractions is just a short drive away!
