Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Hot tub for 2 (private). 1 small dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times. Private parking for 2 cars, 100m away. No smoking. Please note: There are 2 steps in the grounds, and a lake within the grounds.. Nestled in the quiet village of Alvingham, this lakeside pod offers the perfect base for exploring some of Lincolnshire’s most scenic countryside, charming towns, and beautiful coastlines.
Just ten minutes away is the historic market town of Louth, often described as the ‘Capital of the Wolds’. With its Georgian streets, independent shops, artisan bakeries, and character-filled pubs, Louth is a must-visit during your stay. The town also hosts regular markets and is home to St James’ Church, known for its soaring spire and impressive architecture.
To the west lies the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty filled with peaceful walking trails, rolling hills, and unspoilt views. Explore picturesque villages like Tealby, Somersby, and Binbrook, or take a scenic drive through winding lanes and open farmland. Cyclists and walkers alike will love the network of quiet routes and trails.
Head east and you’ll find the Lincolnshire coast, just a short drive away. Visit traditional seaside towns like Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea, where fish and chips, beach huts, and wide sandy beaches await.
