Find something else. We love a budget accommodation and we’re usually aware of what that means. In this case, however, it was NOT worth it. Although an awesome location, so many issues! On check in, we found no hot water in our unit. After hours of travel we wanted showers but this wasn’t possible. The host had to send me instructions on how to fix the boiler myself. Took 12 hours for hot water to build up. Not to mention, the shower didn’t drain at all and was extremely slippery especially for those with mobility issues. Bedrooms were in the basement, with no egress in case of fire or emergency. The basement was also full of mold, mildew, and moisture. We all coughed. I’d love to attach the photos we took of mold accumulation in the daylight windows. That leads me to drying of our towels; first off, we only got 2 full sized towels for a reservation with four adults. The other towels did not cover our bodies. But, because this place was so damp nothing would dry and we were not given spares. I was told by the host to use the “dryer or electric dry rack” however the dry rack had a note saying “do not use” and there was no dryer in this unit. After reminding the host our unit had no dryer, i got no response. I am assuming the electric dry rack was not in use because it was leaking a brown smelly substance onto the bathroom floor. There was no spare linens or sheets or blankets left either. This place was honestly just really gross to be in after a week. Keep looking!

Unsere Schlafzimmer waren im Souterrain und beide sauber und gepflegt. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten und die Lage des Apartments war fantastisch!! Wir haben einen Girls Wochenendtrip gemacht und sind von morgens bis abends durch London spaziert. Inunmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es jede Menge Restaurants und Pubs zur Verpflegung. Auch Geschäfte sind fußläufig in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Lediglich die minimale Lüftungsmöglichkeit hat mir nicht gefallen. Aufgrund der baulichen Gegebenheiten, konnte ich nicht, wie gewohnt, Fenster weit aufreißen und lüften. Kommunikation und Check-In war ganz unkompliziert. Wahrend unseres Aufenthalts gab es eine Besichtigung, diese wurde rechtzeitig angekündigt und es wurde auch nochmal ein Reminder geschickt mit Bitte um Bestätigung, dass diese ansteht. Wir haben es weder als störend noch unangenehm empfunden, es hat alles problemlos geklappt.
