This charming 3rd floor; single level villa features a
Private Balcony, 2 Flat Screen TV's and offers an easy
walk to Coligny Plaza with more that 60 shops &
restaurants. Guests of 339 Shorewood can spend the
day at the Beach or enjoy the Zero Entry Oceanfront
Pool, Poolside Hot Tub & Baby Pool. Free WiFi. **
Please note that there is no telephone in this villa.

Beautiful Property!

The location of the property and the actual property itself was our favorite part. The room was great, too! We loved being able to walk to the playground, the pool, the beach, the shops and grocery store, and restaurants!

Great for families

My family had the best time in Hilton Head. This villa was prefect overall. We loved the pool, the access to the beach, and being close to everything in town. It was nice that there was beach chairs, beach toys, and an umbrella provided. My 3 year old is already looking forward on coming back next year.

August 2021 family with small children

The property was easy to access, had plenty of parking, and was ideally located for access to the beach , shopping, and dining. The unit was comfortable and well appointed. The beds were just okay. The bathrooms and kitchen were good. The pool was great. We have an 18 month old and a 4 year old. The pool and beach access was ideal for both.

Good and bad

Condo nice, clean and comfortable. No beach towels. How do you rent beach condo without beach towels. Had to buy plus carry on to take home. Can't fit beach towels in suitcase when flying. Pool was wonderful but then closed our last 3 days.

Suited our family perfectly

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. We enjoyed our proximity to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. Given that we were close to a public beach access, the beach was a bit more crowded than ideal. The condo suited our family of four very well. The kids had their own room and bathroom. There were a few issues with a slow draining sink, broken TV remote and VERY slow ice maker that have been communicated with the property managers and owners. There are beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys available that were not mentioned on the listing (I would assume their presence cannot be counted on). I would stay here again.

Wash your dishes

Housekeeping did a nice job of cleaning the condo and I wouldn't expect them to check dishes. Some actually had food on them, so we loaded them all into the dishwasher and ran it before using any dishes & washed the pots & pans too, which we would always do in a condo rental.

Beach trip stay

Great property with everything located closely and easy to access. Easy access to pool and beach and all the shops and food in the area. My only complaint would be the air had to be set on 70 degrees and was kind of warm due to there being no ceiling fans. There was a box fan in closet that we used to keep a kids cooler. The back room was warm due to the fact that it got direct sun and there was no fan. Property states that air conditioner will freeze if lower than 70. The washer and dryer weren’t the best but did their job. We had an amazing stay and would stay there again.

Great property but...

The unit was clean, comfortable, and the views. But we went in January and there was major construction going on - day and night. Would we stay there again? Absolutely but we would certainly check to see if there were renovations (January and February). The grounds were perfect, the pool and hot tub were large enough and access to the beach was steps away from the unit. Unit amenities; the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage for our stuff. The kitchen was stocked enough to eat in daily and the furniture was not bad. The washer/dryer though was a little loud so we ran it when we were out.

Girls beach week

The property was clean and as described. The kitchen could use help. Limited pots and pans in poor condition. There was one teaspoon and rest were large tablespoons, hard to eat with a giant spoon. There were no instructions for tvs finally got one working. There were no folding luggage holders so you had to put everything away (master) or use the floor. Second bedroom had limited area for clothes storage making it hard for two adults with suitcases. Beds were ok, pillows not so. King bed had only two pillows. There were extra but no cases. Shorewood is a favorite place to stay. Close to Coligny and great beach access plus nice pool and hot tub.

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

Our family was extremely happy with this condo. It was very clean, an easy walk to the beach, and plenty of room for our two teenagers. We would absolutely stay here again. There were enough plates, utensils, coffeemaker, etc. to make breakfast and lunches at the condo, but we ate out for dinners, so I can't speak on pot/pans, etc. It was also very nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. From the condo it's a quick walk or bike ride to the shops and restaurants at Coligny Plaza.

Family Vacation

The property was great! The condo was huge, well stocked, and clean. The pool was beautiful and not crowded at all when we stayed mid September. The only negative is that the king bed wasn’t very comfortable, either were the provided pillows- wish I had brought mine from home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: Place was well laid out and newer furniture. Awesome view. AC was great. Cons: Problem with too much hot water and not enough cold water in showers. Could never get it regulated because it was hot or no water. House keeping was minimal at best. Place was dusty and the LVT floors ruined our socks and blacked our feet the first day. Every dish we took out was greasy. Cleaning crew needs to be reevaluated. For what you are required to pay in fees aver and above the high rental cost, it should have been in better shape.

Overall beautifully maintained property and location was great! You just barely peek at the beach/ocean from the balcony, but we were only there in the evenings (out exploring all day), so we really weren't looking to pay for a beachfront property, so it was great! The balcony is reasonably private - I never felt like I was on display like you do in some condos. The master bathroom needs some minor repair from water damage outside the shower, but didn't affect our stay. Really nice that they provide some folding beach chairs, umbrellas and toys. Parking was easy. Overall, loved it and would definitely stay again!

Great place, inconvenient check in/out

You can’t beat the location and this condo was clearly renovated recently so our stay was great. My only complaint would be that they haven’t updated from keys you have to pick up and drop off at a vacation property office to a key code like most other places we’ve rented.
