Carina in Toscana is a one bedroom garden apartment within our Tuscan home with stunning scenery and private swimming pool. On the doorstep of the stunning Apuan Alps, and within easy access by car to/from Pisa, Lucca and the coast.
Accessed via pretty garden steps, the apartment has a large bedroom with king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe area, shower room with walk-in shower, basin, WC and bidet. French doors lead to the large garden, terrace and seasonal swimming pool, with ample sun loungers and seating areas. The lounge/kitchen/dining room is equipped with oven and induction hob, fridge-freezer, double sink, sofa and dining table. There is a smart TV which guests are free to use to log in to their TV apps. We offer an ideal base for couples or single travellers who want to combine peace and relaxation with exploring all that this magical part of Tuscany has to offer. Colognola is a thriving village within 5 minutes walk, with a lively bar/tabac, supermarket, launderette, pasticceria, grocer, hairdresser and more. Nearest train station, Piazza al Serchio 5 minutes by car, on the Pisa/Lucca/Aulla line.
There is a weekly Tuesday market in Piazza al Serchio, where you will also find more bars, restaurants, banks and ATM machines, along with independent shops.
Castelnuovo di Garfagnana is 20 minutes by car and is busy with shops, restaurants, bars and more.
Carina in Toscana is a great base from which to enjoy traditional Tuscan festivals which take place in local villages and towns.

We love having guests share this wonderful space and try our utmost to ensure their stay is relaxing and enjoyable.

This part of Tuscany is truly special. With the beautiful Apuan Alps on the doorstep with an abundance of fabulous villages, towns, scenery and sites make it a perfect mix of exploration and relaxation.
There is always something to see and do and so many festivals and events to enjoy.
We particularly love being within easy driving reach of the Versilia coast and beyond with Liguria and Emilia-Romagna so close.
The added bonus of a train station just a 5 minute drive away, which is on the Pisa/Lucca/Aulla line means it is also easy to get out and about by rail.

The newly refurbished apartment has its own private access and guests have sole use of the pool which is set in our large garden with stunning views.
The thriving village of Colognola with bar/tabac, supermarket, car wash, hairdresser, pasticceria, grocer and mechanic, is just a 5 minute walk away.
Being on site but with a mind on discretion, means we are always available for any questions or queries.
