About this property
Woodside Lodge, Cenarth
Woodside Lodge is close to the pretty village of Cenarth, near Newcastle Emlyn. This detached, refurbished timber lodge offers a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The cabin reflects a Scandinavian-inspired style with timber cladding inside and out, and a light, open-plan layout that creates a calm and airy atmosphere.
Set within Penlan Holiday Village, the lodge is part of a spacious 24-acre park where lodges are thoughtfully spaced out among birds and local wildlife. Guests have free access to a seasonal heated outdoor pool, a small bar with a pool table, and a children's play area with swings, slides and a climbing frame.
Just a mile away, the village of Cenarth is home to the famous salmon leaps, riverside walks, waterfalls, the National Coracle Centre, pubs, gift shops, a café, and a highly regarded deli. Despite its peaceful setting, the lodge is well placed for exploring West Wales. The coastal towns of Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn are just 10 and 3 miles away, offering markets, independent shops and local food.
Within a short drive are some of the best beaches in the region—Poppit Sands, Aberporth, Tresaith, Penbryn, Mwnt and Newport—ideal for days out by the sea. There are excellent walking and fishing opportunities on the River Teifi nearby. The popular Pembrokeshire town of Tenby is 50 minutes’ drive away.
Whether you’re looking to unwind or explore, this characterful lodge offers a perfect base for discovering the charm and beauty of West Wales.
