Freezer was severely iced over, unusable. Check in was confusing: directed to Masterlock but several present so had to try one at a time. AC in advertisement but couldn't figure out how to turn on, messaged host on day 1 but no response until we had already left on day 3. Lock on door loose. Some windows unusable. Previous reviewer made similar comments, but owner apparently ignored them.

Good location for a stay in central London. Nice courtyard outside with gated entrance. Apartment looked nice at first glance, but needs a better clean and maintenance needed in several areas e.g. mould on bathroom and bedrooms ceilings/by windows, locks on most windows faulty (only 3 windows can be opened, which was very uncomfortable in the heat). The front door lock is faulty and nearly coming loose. Floor coming up in hallway. No curtains in one bedroom (hole on one side where rail had been). Picture in living room had fallen off wall. From a cleanliness perspective, the kitchen was not very clean and neither was the bathroom, both had ants. There was also a lack of some basic utensils in the kitchen i.e. no baking trays for oven and no cereal bowls, No light in fridge/ freezer full of ice and needs defrosting.
