About this property
Leaf Retreat - A Rest in Nature. Pet-friendly!
Leaf Retreat is based in a secluded haven on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds in Louth, just a 5 min walk from the town centre! Private en-suite, dog-friendly, accommodation, set within our walled gardens and healing centre. Our guest area is fully private, with outdoor space and chiminea - perfect on a summer's evening while your furry friend can enjoys a free roam of the gardens.
We aim to provide a simple, comfortable, sustainable and alternative way of living based in nature. We prefer to be butterflies than the voracious caterpillar, with an emphasis on up-cycling for a unique and inspirational experience!
The guest annex is a one double bedroom open plan area, with a kitchen and dining area and shower en-suite. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster and fold-out dining area; with cutlery, china, basic condiments, and a collection of teas and coffee. We have a flat-screen TV with access to free reliable wi-fi. There is a fold down desk and comfy chair if you come to do business. Storage with shelves and hangers on the wall. There are two large windows and the sun is lovely in this room - great for a little bird watching. The private outdoor space has a patio table, tree seat, chiminea and BBQ.
As we are dog-friendly and we offer a free dog-sitting service as and when you need! We wouldn't want your furry friend to be on their own at the property and get anxious so we are happy to look after them for you! We have some super dog-friendly places in the Wolds with lovely walks and places to eat.
Leaf Retreat is down a tiny lane, all very safe and quiet. Please note, there is however auctioned land surrounding our property, whilst it can look desolate in winter (and a joy in summer as you can eat blackberries on the way) it is quite an oasis of calm within our secluded spot - a real selling point. It is just a 2 minute walk to the town centre and a Co-op away and open until 11pm for any last minute needs - what more you could ask for?
Come in through the yellow gate, head to the left, past the corner pond and into the annex via a grey door, leading into the bathroom and self-contained annex. You are free to come in and out, we don't mind about noise or times, all very relaxed. We just ask you watch the pugs don't get out should they be roaming around!
The Leaf Retreat is a nutritional, naturopathic and emotional wellbeing centre. We offer a variety of services including: therapies, consultations, workshops and courses specialising in herbalism, nutritional healing, foraging and mind-body quantum therapy.Guests are welcome to access the healing centre during their visit and enjoy crystals, singing bowls, herbal teas, and an extensive library covering complimentary therapies. If there is an event during your stay you are most welcome to join in for free!
We are happy to organise bespoke holidays designed to your needs, a mix of days out and therapy - see the Wolds and enjoy a reiki session, or consult about herbal and nutrition. Perhaps you are a solo visitor wanting to heal trauma - we cater for all needs and will do our best to organise a lovely learning/healing holiday at discount prices. Please state any requests on booking as sometimes it is not possible as I will be away on business, and wouldn't want to disappoint!
Simple, clean and comfortable. Nature vibes. Freedom. Relaxed stay!
