Peaceful 3 bed flat

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

Easy and fast access to fringe festival venues. 30mins walk to University venues, 20mins bus to train station.

This is a peaceful flat in one of the best parts of town. Morningside has beautiful cafes and and nature walks only minutes from the door (Blackford glen and Craiglockhart).

The flat has one very large bedroom, a middle szed one and a third all of which comfortably accommodate double beds.

The flat is very private due to a beautiful front hedge and the shared garden out the back.

We have high speed internet M250 with average download speeds of 264Mbps.

There is an electric piano in the front room to play .

The flat is simple clean and homely.

The apartment is as it appears in the photographs and would benefit from an overhaul, however this would obviously affect the price. It is basic but ideally located for the center of Edinburgh. A television would be a bonus.

Perfect location, easy to access main city. Great flat with everything we needed. Jake was a great host very flexible with check in and out. Really appreciated there being two sets of keys made life much easier. I would happily stay here again.

My family and I stayed at this property a few weeks ago and I wanted to leave some time between leaving and writing the review to make sure I wasn't writing purely from frustration.There were many issue with the property but the principal issue was it was not clean and infested with spiders. The first night we got there we noticed there were spiders and cobwebs. One of my daughters observed spiders on the curtains and above the bed and was afraid to sleep. We asked the hosts of there was a vacuum and spent about an hour vacuuming the corners and areas around the bed. The next day we were out of the house most of the day and returned again in the evening. Unfortunately we continued to find spiders throughout the apartment. There was two spider that was about three inches long - one on the bedroom and one in the family room. We spent quite some time trying to get all the spiders again. There were also bugs crawling on the kitchen walls.the first night we figured we would stay so we didn't take loads of photos but I did take some to show the host. The next day I took photos and videos of the bugs and the uncleanliness and general disrepair of the place. After the second night we reached out to VRBO to assist with canceling the reservation and for help in getting a refund. They were very difficult to work with. The host gave us a partial refund for the two nights we hadn't used and would not use and no refund for the nights we had stayed. I would absolutely not recommend.
