The century-old former storefront, department store and jewelry store is now home to a 3,000-square-foot modern loft on the upper floors with plenty of natural light, open space in the heart of historic downtown New Albany, Indiana. New Albany has seen a recent revitalization and is less than 10 minutes from downtown Louisville but with a unique charm all its own.
The Loft is located on the second and third floors of a historic building that was formerly as jewelry store and even a department store in the 1940s and 50s. It has three bedrooms and two and a half baths. An additional twin beds in upper open loft. Additional VRBO loft space available next door (596733) sleeping up to 14. Please inquire.
Restaurants, a winery, breweries, boutiques, the Ohio River Greenway and the YMCA are all located on the surrounding blocks. Two cruiser bikes with baskets are available for use to explore downtown and the riverfront.

The Bergmans purchased this former jewelry and department store in late 2015 and did a complete second and third floor renovation. We love bringing old spaces to life, and showing off their history and character.

This space has a large open area great for entertaining friends and family. Two loft spaces overlook the mezzanine for additional open space as well as a third floor rooftop overlooking New Albany and the Sherman Minton Bridge.
