The glorious Romanesque San Lorenzo Cathedral is 5 minutes away and Piazza de Ferrari is only a 3-minute walk. De Ferrari metro station is just a 3-minute walk from the apartment, so getting around the city is a breeze. Other museums and galleries are within easy walking distance.

Genova is famous for its fine food and has many excellent restaurants to suit all budgets. To fully appreciate the city and its food, the best market is the Mercato Orientale in Via XX Settembre (10-minute walk). Otherwise, there are street markets every day across most of the city.
