Welcome to our stunning apartment on the top floor of a historic building with an elevator, located right in front of the Genoa Aquarium. With breathtaking 360-degree views of the Porto Antico and the historic center, this is your perfect haven to explore the true medieval Genoa, with its charming alleys and streets sung about by De André.

The apartment, recently renovated and very bright, is ideal for extended stays. With approximately 100 square meters of space, it features two double bedrooms, a bathroom, a spacious open-plan living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large panoramic terrace.

Here, you can enjoy unforgettable evenings admiring the Porto Antico, the boats, cruise ships, and the Expo area. The kitchen, equipped with an oven, microwave, and refrigerator, allows you to choose between a home-cooked meal or dining out at the many nearby restaurants. The area is rich in amenities, including supermarkets and playgrounds for children.

Matteo was very friendly and helpful in helping us wfind parking, as well as give us tips and tricks about getting to the train station, as well as overall recommendations on restaurants and tourist attractions. Would definitely stay here again. The view from the rooftop patio was great.

Great place for the sights of Genoa

This is a great little property for visiting the tourist locations. Host was very responsive & informative. Had a lovely experience. I would recommend for anyone who can cope with the stairs.

Amazing view and location!

The communication was top notch and made everything easier…parking, entry, and finding nearby restaurants! The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the views from the rooftop terrace, although the stairs to get up and down are very steep. The location was perfect for us…close to the marina and a short walk to all of the main attractions of the city.

The most wonderful place to stay. Right in the heart of the old city. Spectacular views as you are on the top floor with an available rooftop. So many great options for restaurants, cafes, and shops. Awesome Home and location

Matteo was the best host. He was very welcoming and gave us the greatest neighborhood suggestions. The apartment was clean and well supplied. The harbor across the street was beautiful and a great place to stroll thru in the evening. Very close to a parking garage, and anything you need within walking distance. Go find Da Cicci’s restaurant. It was delicious. Thank you for a great experience in Genoa

A Charming Stay in Genoa

Matteo was a wonderful host. He met us outside the apartment and walked us up. The apartment is quite large and has everything you need to cook yourselves an authentic Italian meal. It is a short walk to Eatly and other grocery stores where you can get your supplies. There are also many restaurants in the area. Matteo kindly pointed us in the direction of several good options. We saw great views of the Porto Antico from the windows. We also enjoyed the rooftop terrace, enjoying wine while relaxing with the view. It is close to the aquarium and a also a short walk to Piazza De Ferrari. We had a wonderful time in Genoa, and if we ever come back, would be happy to rent this apartment again.

Good Location

The great selling feature of this property was the roof top deck and the view of the harbour. The roof deck is accessed by a ship’s ladder so may not be for everyone. Thank goodness for the elevator, but even so there is still an additional 20 steps that need to be negotiated from the elevator to the apartment, but Matteo was more than happy to assist us with our luggage. He also arranged for a taxi to the train station at the end which cost just under 13€. Matteo lives in the apartment next door so was readily available if we needed any assistance.

Amazing spacious apartment with stunning views of the harbor. Private Roof top terrace is spectacular. Matteo is an amazing host that will help with organizing parking, tips for restaurants and sites. Apartment is very close to walking to many of the beautiful Genoa monuments. When in Genoa why stay anywhere else?

I can't think of a better spot to stay in Genoa. The apartment overlooks the old harbour and is centrally located to everything. There is a Metro station across the road and walkable shops and restaurants are all around. There is a very reasonable grocery store just across the street also. The apartment itself is excellent. Plenty of space, bright and airy, clean and modern. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a well provided for kitchen. The icing on the cake being that you have a great roof top deck all to yourself. Ok, there may be 129 steps to get to the apartment but how else does one expect to get a roof top deck? Matteo , the owner, is very nice. He provides a good list of ideas of places to go and see locally and is as helpful or as un intrusive as you need. You have a question he is there, you have no questions, that's ok too. I would have no hesitation of recommending the apartment to anyone interested in spending some time in Genoa.

Klasse Apartment mit Dachterrasse

Die Wohnung mit zwei Bädern und zwei Schlafzimmern ist gut ausgestattet und ideal gelegen für die Besichtigung der Altstadt Genuas. Gegenwärtig wird ein Aufzug eingebaut, was den Aufstieg in den 6. Stock erleichtern wird. Die Umgebung am Hafen hat durchaus auch einen rauhen Charme, ist aber eben auch unverfälscht. Der Blick aus den Zimmern und von der Terrrasse ist klasse. Wir konnten gegenüber vom Eigentümer zusätzlich eine Einzelgarage innerhalb einer Tiefgarage anmieten, die für Kleinwagen und Mittelklasse geeignet ist - sehr praktisch.

This was such an amazing experience, visited for 3 days over Xmas and it was definitely not enough time! The view you wake up to every morning is absolutely spectacular, worth the 5 story walk up. Matteo was very attentive and a great host, with the flat being equipped with everything you could need from hair dryer, to salt to olive oil to iron and washing machine. Gem in the heart of Genoa.

Fantastic views from the roof terrace and a great base for us - we went to Florence, Luca, Allesandria and Portofino - a couple of good walks around Genoa. The harbour / port area is lovely with good choice of bars and restaurants. This our first family break in Italy and it has been excellent. The apartment has been everything we wanted.
