Dybesø is an idyllic natural area with abundant birdlife, surrounded by plantation and thickets. A trail of about 1.9 km circles the lake, and there are only about 70 meters between the Kattegat and Dybesø’s northernmost point, making it the lake in Denmark closest to the sea.



The town of Rørvig and its cozy harbor are always worth a visit, with plenty of activities for both children and adults. The amusement park Sommerland Sjælland is only about 15 minutes by car, while Nykøbing Sj., with its pedestrian street, small shops, theater, and harbor, is about 10 minutes away. Odsherred is also known for its many small galleries and workshops.
