Once a working mill dating back to the 1700s, the property still features the original Mill Lade flowing gently through the garden, creating a peaceful soundtrack to your stay. Nestled just a few miles from the charming village of Thornhill, Townhead Mill offers far-reaching countryside views and a sense of tranquillity that sets in from the moment you arrive.
The property is accessed via a sweeping driveway and offers level access to the welcoming entrance porch.
Inside, you’ll find a spacious dining area, a welcoming, light and bright living room with patio doors that open onto a balcony, perfect for enjoying the stunning views with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine, and a well-equipped kitchen and from here a door leads to outside steps to the lower garden. The ground floor features a large master bedroom with a king-size bed, single bed, and cot, complete with an en-suite shower room, as well as a second double bedroom.
Downstairs, the lower ground floor houses a third double bedroom with a convenient Jack-and-Jill en-suite, and a fantastic games room complete with a table tennis table, exercise bike, and a selection of board games. A door from the games room leads out to the lower garden, a delightful place to unwind.
