This is a cute and charming little cape. All the amenities that were described were indeed at our disposal. The walk to the beach was a little further than we expected, but it was nothing major. My kids enjoyed the little jaunt every day. The small beach is psuedo-private, meaning: there aren't many ppl and it is secluded, but is open to the public. On the busiest day, there were maybe three families with a total of about 25 people inhabiting. Due to the size, I believe, this beach isn't as maintained as the larger beaches where you pay to park & enjoy seaweed/horseshoe crab free sand. Again, my kids could dig in the sand and were perfectly content.
The outdoor shower was proclaimed "creepy" by my kids as you had to fight your way through foliage to use. The hydrangea are lovely, but need to be cut back in the worst way! There was really no using the back yard., so while the front & side yards were enough for kids to run around & play in, they were separated by a crushed shell drive-pad. Not good for little kiddies to be running around.
Overall, the price was extremely good for the location and the time we visited. We're not high maintenance, so if you're looking for posh & uber fancy - this quaint little home is not for you. But, if you're simple and are looking for a quiet place to stay, close to a beach, a quick drive to the hustle and bustle and a relaxing get-a-way, this is the spot.
