The Loft is a bright and relaxing coastal retreat just 100 yards from the beautiful sandy beach at Fleet Bay, near Gatehouse of Fleet in south-west Scotland. Set above our family beach house with its own private entrance, The Loft offers a peaceful escape with lovely sea views and easy access to the coastline.

Perfect for couples, small families or friends, The Loft combines comfort and character with an open, airy feel. Large windows make the most of the natural light and coastal scenery, while the comfortable living space provides a cosy base after days exploring the beach, gardens and countryside

Guests can enjoy nearby walking, cycling, golf, kayaking and wildlife watching, with quiet roads, coastal paths and excellent golf courses all within easy reach. Fleet Bay is ideal for paddleboarding, kayaking and swimming, and guests are welcome to bring their own paddleboards or small boats.

A few welcome goodies are left for guests on arrival to help you settle in and start your stay in comfort. The Loft is also well placed for exploring the wider beauty of Dumfries & Galloway, including beaches, castles, gardens and charming harbour villages.
