Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy
Total disaster - vacation ruined! We have booked this place to have a nice vacation with my family. The first suprise was that we were supposed to bring our own bed sheets and towels. Although I have asked the owner several times concerning Wi-Fi – I havent received any answer before arrival. Result: no Wi-Fi at this place. After entering the location, it was extremly hot and humid inside (there is no AC, just some semi-working ventilators – every other neighbour house and probably on Sardinia had an AC!). During the check-in by a friendly local (owner is located in Rome), we already saw some lizards outside and a huge cockroach in one of the showers. Later we found out that the lizards also enjoy crawling around the beds due to the humidity – which was the moment where we decided to find another hotel at 1:00 AM.We contacted the owner the next day, explained the situation in a friendly/professional manner and wanted to return the keys/find a solution which would fit both parties. Unfortunately, the owner did not show any goodwill and was just referring to the official description, which in his understanding was absolutely clear (no AC, no Wi-Fi, no bed sheets/towels mentioned explicitly) Honestly, I consider this a total rip-off (the owner was not willing to discuss any form of compensation). Do yourself a favor, read the description VERY carefully and do not assume basic services/equipment in this place). Long story short: total loss of around 2100.
