A Peaceful Break in the Country

Badgers Hut, a deceptively spacious shepherd's hut situated in its own field on the edge of the estate. Perfect for stunning sunrise watching and late night marshmallow-toasting by the fire pit under the bright moon! Lovely comfy bed and spacious shower room and well equipped kitchenette. Beautiful decor throughout- and the space was enhanced by the outdoor decking area. We had a fabulous stay, boosted by the weather and delightful sounds and sights of the country (with a few added airplane sounds now and then!) Kestrels, owls, herons, stone chats, squirrels and rabbits to name but a few! Highly recommend this - perfect for winding down, reconnecting, oh- and finding your inner child with Pooh's 100 Acre Wood just a short drive down the road! We will most definitely be back!

Lovely stay overall

Beautiful location. Extremely clean. Just some minor issues that would have made it even better. The hut was extremely hot and the automatic provision of a fan would have really helped. Quicker response from the manager regarding issues would have helped too. Overall a lovely stay but I wouldn’t stay again when it’s hot weather.
