The apartment was very spacious and it was great having two bathrooms , the roof top terrace was our favourite bit with a big table and chairs two sunbeds and four sofa seats. Fantastic 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, penthouse apartment at the top of Albuferia in the Windmill complex. Stunning views from the roof terrace during the day and in the evening.Great communication from our host Bertus and queries resolved instantly. Wonderful large, clean apartment with excellent equipment and appliances, set in a quiet area with easy downhill access to old town and Marina, we usually tool a 5 euro taxi ride back up. Lovely clean pool area and gardens, we found sun loungers available at different times of the day as required. The apartment is well furnished and the beds were comfortable, the large roof terrace was a highlight for us and had plenty of both outdoor sofa and dining space.

We stayed for 6 days with our 18 year old twins. The apartment and complex were fantastic ! We were concerned that there would be enough space in the apartment but it was much larger and spacious that the photos - a beautiful 3 level Appartment - the 3rd floor being a fantastic roof with an amazing view of the old town and the sea …. Fabulous both in the day and at night as the sun sets - the sea and the sky change to pink and then as the moon rises you can see all the lights of the boats on the sea - simply magical ! Table for breakfast and relaxing settee and chairs with large umbrella for relaxing. Pool and pool bar were fab - situations around the iconic windmill restaurant… with the pool bar serving great breakfasts and food and open until 11pm … get your towels down between 8 and 9 as it’s the sort of pool you just can’t tear yourself away from, so once the beds are gone they don’t usually come available again that day. Felt a very safe and friendly complex …I would have definitely come here when my children were younger - but great now they are older with the old town so close … they always stayed out longer than us and was perfectly fine for walking back in the early hours …. Or taxis back from the old town were usually only about E6. Bertius was a great host - always answered very quickly but there were absolutely no issues at all with the Appartment - very thoughtfully equipped with all needs covered for a great holiday ! Thanks Bertius - we loved your Appartment
