Explore the nearby coastline and lively town centre for a true Whitby experience. Falcon Retreat sits on Falcon Terrace, just a short walk from Whitby town centre. Spread across three floors, it combines style and character throughout.
On the ground floor, you'll find the living room, kitchen, dining area, and a bathroom. The dining room features a navy accent wall and a table for all guests — a great spot for family meals or gatherings with friends. The living room includes leather sofas, a flat-screen TV, and a large bay window for plenty of light. The compact kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, oven and toaster. The ground-floor bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Upstairs, the main bathroom features a freestanding bathtub and a walk-in shower. The first bedroom includes a four-poster king-size bed and a single bed, plus views over Whitby's rooftops. On the top floor are two more bedrooms — one with a double bed and sofa bed, and another with a double bed. Both are bright and comfortable spaces to unwind after a day out. To the front of the property, a small enclosed south-facing seating area offers the perfect spot for a morning coffee or afternoon drink.
This property is ideally suited for groups of 6 to 8 guests, offering a comfortable layout that perfectly accommodates gatherings of this size.
Whitby is a picturesque town perched on England's rugged North Yorkshire coastline, where history, legend, and natural beauty come together. It's best known for its dramatic coastal views, Gothic architecture, and strong ties to both maritime heritage and literary fame. Split by the River Esk, Whitby has a working harbour, cobbled streets, and a timeless charm that draws visitors year-round.
At the top of the East Cliff stand the striking ruins of Whitby Abbey, founded in the 7th century and later made famous as an inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula. The climb up the 199 steps leading to the abbey rewards visitors with sweeping views of the town and sea — a must-see for anyone exploring Whitby.
