The space This chic beachside home is a haven of tranquillity, offering an expansive open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area where you can relax year-round. Whether you're cuddled up near the fireplace or enjoying the cool breeze through the open doors, there's ample space for the whole family. On sunny mornings or warm afternoons, step out onto the wrap-around veranda, grab a seat overlooking the grassy backyard, or gather around the outdoor fire pit. The soothing sounds of crashing waves from Wimbie Beach and the gentle activity of the nearby estuary create a serene backdrop, enhancing the sense of seclusion. The 3 bedrooms include a queen room, a kids' room with 2 single beds, and a third room with 2 queen beds and an en-suite with a separate bath and shower. Just a short drive north or south of Surf Beach and you will be spoilt for choice with gorgeous bush walks, stunning beaches and quaint beachside towns. You can explore until your heart's content. Mogo wildlife park is about 15-minute drive southwest and there’s a BMX track nearby to that as well. House rules You are staying in a friendly and peaceful neighbourhood and we kindly ask you to respect the community and your surrounding neighbours. The following strict House Rules apply: - No loud noise between 10 pm and 8 am - No parties or antisocial behaviour - No additional people are to access the property without our prior approval - No pets are allowed in the property without approval - No smoking is allowed at any times - If you break something, please let us know - To help protect all floor coverings, do not wear any shoes inside the property Please be aware that excessive noise such as amplified music, vocals or screaming or anti-social behaviour in the property or common areas can cause neighbours to complain to us, the Building Manager, Council Rangers or Police. IMPORTANT: - Any breach of the House Rules may lead to a $500 fine plus compensation for any cost/damage created and immediate eviction of the property without refund. - Pets are available on request unless the property states it is pet friendly. Any stays with pets will incur an additional cleaning fee of $200. Finally, when checking out, we kindly ask you for the following: - Please leave all beds unmade - Please clean up your dishes and put them away - In case you have rearranged furniture, please put it back to the original location - Please take out the rubbish and remember to use the right bins - Please ensure all appliances, A/C and lights are off and doors and windows are closed. - Please check your accommodation thoroughly before departing to avoid any unintentional items left behind. We are not liable for any items left behind after your stay. In the rare event that a guest reports a missing item, we will make every effort to locate it for you, but we cannot guarantee its retrieval. Getting around This cosy home is tucked away on a quiet and tranquil street set back from the beautiful Surf Beach. Take the 2-minute drive or 7-minute walk down to the beach where you will find a local pizza shop, IGA, pharmacy, cafe and grassy areas with picnic tables. The beach is patrolled in the peak months and there are toilets and showers. Wimble beach is a sheltered, dog-friendly beach south of Surf Beach, just a few minutes walk from Surf Beach or a 15-minute walk from Highview Avenue. Denhams Beach is the third beautiful bay on the Surf Beach Coast that enjoys the tranquil waters provided by the protective rocky outcrops nearby. North of Surf Beach, Denhams Beach is where the bush meets the sea and is a popular spot for families, snorkelling and beginner surfers.
