Beautiful Country Setting 3 min to Windham town center w Large deck/ New Hot Tub and Large Wood Fire pit across our bridge next to a wonderful Stream w 6 cedar Adirondack chairs surrounding our fire pit. A serene setting of 6 chairs on a new bluestone patio stream side, for morning coffee or evening drinks listening and watching the running water closeup.
Enjoy one of our newest amenities , a fun game of bocce just next to our fire pit,bean bag toss.
Ultra Modern spacious kitchen with a Barista Breville Espresso Cappuccino machine with built in grinder, comfortable living room with flat screen TV , DVD , WiFi , DIRECTV, HBO ,charming pellet stove,1906 antique player piano. 2 person shower for relaxation after a hike or skiing. Large deck, with barbecue and outdoor flat screen tv 50” on deck, with a gas fire pit in front of couch on deck, with stream behind house. . A assortment of board games , horse shoes. Wake up to deer in the backyard or walk across the street to see the beautiful horses or sheep. A short drive to a beautiful walking , or cross country skiing path with beautiful views. Great location for Hiking or a relaxing day on the golf course. Zip lining 15 minutes away, or relax and take in a movie at the local 3 screen theatre right in town. Zoom Flume water park a 8 min drive.

A short drive to Main st in town 2.1 miles and 3.4 miles to Ski Windham, and Hunter Mtn Ski area 15 min drive .

A 12 min drive to CD lane park that has beachfront on a lake. Also a 25 min drive to North Lake and South Lake that are beautiful large lakes for lying on the beach, or renting a kayak or bring your own. Also some breathtaking views at the beautiful 5 state view at the Historic site of the Catskill Mountain House and Boulder Rock, and visit the Kaaterskill water fall overlook or take a beautiful hike up from the bottom of the falls to inspiration point . Also we have a wide selection of excellent restaurants in town and in the area. A short 40 min drive will bring you to the beautiful Historic town of Hudson. The town has many fine restaurants and tremendous character along with many interesting antique shops and more. The property has outdoor security cameras facing the front driveway and bridge and streamside patio for security and insurance purposes.

Knitters retreat Rhinebeck weekend

Beautiful property! Clean and very comfortable and inviting. Lots of beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy. Host was super accessible and helpful providing us with more than enough info on our surrounding community.

Great family break

We had a wonderful stay. The house is well arranged with lots of outdoor places to relax around a fire and a nice large family room. It has everything you need. The location can’t be beat, with the private yard on the stream right out back, but it’s still only five minutes to town. Ray was a great host with excellent recommendations.

Family getaway

Really nice and quiet property. The stream in the back is a great place to just sit and relax. Listen to the running water, especially after it rains when the water level rises. Ray was very helpful.

We have been talking about this girls trip for years and finally did it! This house was great! The outside space was worth it!!! From the creek to the fire pit and the hot tub! We lived out stay and Ray was great at check in and easily available during our stay!

Perfect location & wonderfully cozy home

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home for our quick getaway! The house was clean, kid friendly, had an espresso machines for the adults (huge plus), and the truly cozy. We’ve been visiting Windham annually for 8 years and this is far & away our favorite home away from home so far. Can’t speak highly enough of our experience. Hopefully we’ll be back next year - as long as we book in advance!

Idyllic escape from the City

This was a perfect getaway from NYC. With its bubbling creek, firepit in the backyard, new hot tub on the deck, and a full chef's kitchen -- everything you need in one place. Ray was an amazing host - he made sure we had everything we needed, was incredibly responsive, and even accommodated an earlier check-in time because we arrived a bit earlier. Highly recommend this location. Will definitely be going back.

Really cute house with awesome backyard

Loved this place! Awesome back deck with lots of seating, firetable, and very clean hot tub. Beautiful babbling brook and wooden bridge that leads to fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Rooms inside were small but comfortable. One bathroom is extremely small but the other is large. Kitchen was very modern and pretty. Overall a great place to stay!

Wonderful home away from home!

My family stayed for 4 nights in this wonderful house. Raymond was a very welcoming host, the house was very nice and clean, the kitchen and backyard patio were our favorites. We especially loved the relaxing sound of the flowing stream while having our dinner by the outdoor patio. The host was very helpful and provided nice list of places to eat and shop nearby. I definitely recommend this wonderful house. If you are considering booking, you must!

Charming Mountain Retreat - Great Experience

House is meticulously renovated and is extremely comfortable. The kitchen is fantastic and I got a lesson in espresso-making from our host, Ray. If you wonder about the level of detail clearly showing in the house, you will stop wondering as soon as you spend 5 minutes with Ray! Great host, checked in with us everyday to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here.... The Kings

Perfect Getaway

Ray was a fantastic host, willing to give helpful information or help out at any moment! He left us a bottle of wine upon arrival and brought a new propane tank within minutes when we needed it for the grill. The house itself is great, clean, stocked with toiletries, and beautiful indoor and outdoor space! The hot tub is perfect, I just wish we had had more time to spend by the beautiful creek out back.

Fabulous weekend getaway!

The home and property are clean, welcoming, and well maintained. Sitting outside on the lovely balcony, or better yet, by the stream, is a serene and restorative experience, exactly what we were looking for in a mountain getaway! Above all, I must commend Ray for being a most personable, caring host; he provided information about the area in advance of the visit, oriented us to the house, and checked up on us to make sure we were all settled in and comfortable! We truly felt like we were staying with a friend! We will be back:)

Comfy & Cozy

Ray was an excellent host. He was always available to answer any of my questions or concerns. We really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. We had over 30 inches of snow during our stay and it was a fun experience to hang out in the hot tub with my 3 young children. They loved it. The back yard is huge and a great spot to hang by the fire pit and enjoy mother nature. The house is very convenient to Windham Mountain.

Amazing location

We loved the property the little patio by the brook was my favorite part. There is also an expansive deck and yard as well. Interior of the house was spotless. Ray was a fabulous host will be back again this was our second trip there!

Great Place

This property was everything that it was advertised to be. The location just minutes away from Hunter and Windham Mountains was perfect. The property itself was beautiful with numerous fire pits and Solo Stoves all over the place. The stream that runs past added to the overall relaxed feel. Everything was a breeze, and we had a great friends getaway.

Lovely house

We went up to Windham for a wedding. The house was a great place to stay and hang out, instead of sitting in a hotel room staring at the walls and waiting for the wedding. We sat out on the deck, socialized with other family members and got dressed leisurely. Ray is a wonderful host and had tons of suggestions for meals and activities

Great Rental

From start to finish, this rental was perfect for our annual girls hiking weekend. Great amenities with multiple outdoor locations to relax. Very clean and tidy, great living area to relax in mornings and evenings. Property owner was extremely friendly and personally walked through the property to show us all the great things the home has to offer. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Stay

The pictures didn't do it justice. The place was so nice and cozy. It was so inviting and comfortable to hang out with my family for the Thanksgiving weekend. Ray was so super nice and very attentive to all of my questions even before we stayed at the place. He met us on the day we arrived and showed us around and gave us all the tricks of the house. His list of things to do in he area was also very helpful and informative. I'm so glad we stayed at this place. I would definitely stay here again when I decide to go skiing.
