Become fully immersed in Porthcurno Valley’s local history with a stay in this marvellous terraced cottage. Part of the area’s vibrant heritage, the two-storey property can be found in Cornwall’s old Cable and Wireless training college, a vital hub of trailblazing technological advances. To this day it remains to be a handsome addition to the village with period features throughout, updated to feature homely décor and exceptionally comfortable furnishings. A fantastic option for groups of families or friends, the thoughtfully laid-out accommodation sleeps six guests across three fetching bedrooms.
Featuring a modern décor with nautical accents dotted throughout, this lovely holiday home is certain to make you feel instantly welcome. All the communal spaces including an elegant lounge and a sociable kitchen/diner can be found on the ground floor, accompanied by a handy cloakroom for stowing outerwear and boots. Prepare dishes in the amply spaced kitchen and chose to dine indoors or outdoors. Terraces at both the front and the back of the property mean you can follow the sun and dine outdoors at any time of day. Back inside, step upstairs to find three bedrooms, two king-size and a twin, accompanied by a family bathroom. Further amenities are on offer in the master bedroom where you’ll find an additional en-suite.
You’re never too far from a beach when staying on Cornwall’s delectable coast and Porthcurno’s stunning beach is just half a mile from home. With its arch of white sand and sparkling turquoise water, this beach is simply perfect for summer days. After a day of lounging and swimming, head to the local Minnack Theatre (0.5 miles) to take in a play whilst admiring the mighty seascapes. Also nearby is PK Porthcurno (500 metres), a fascinating museum displaying the area’s achievements, and the tennis courts which are just over the road (less than 100 metres).
