The chef of your group will delight in the facilities in the kitchen/diner while your other guests warm up their toes in front of the glowing wood burner in the lounge. Come together around the table for delicious homemade meals and celebratory drinks, then settle into the sofa and unwind in front of the TV, all while soaking up the breathtaking sea views framed beautifully by the bay window. As the night draws to a close, retreat to one of the two king-size bedrooms on the first floor, each styled in calming, neutral tones and sharing a contemporary shower room. The second-floor bedroom is just as delightful, with an en-suite twin bedroom boasting incredible dual-aspect views. In the morning, tuck into an al fresco breakfast on the charming balcony.

Overlooking the River Deben and historic Bawdsey Manor, the lovely fishing village of Felixstowe Ferry is perfect for sailing, paddleboarding, walking and cycling. A pebble beach sits just in front of the house, where rock pooling or paddling can be enjoyed at a moment's notice, while designated swimming spots are only a short walk away. Hop on the foot ferry (0.5 miles) to Bawdsey, home to the fascinating radar museum, or head 3 miles to Felixstowe for sandy beaches, seafront gardens, The Treasure Chest Bookshop and The Palace Cinema. There's plenty to see and do when you stay at this coastal getaway.
