The cottage-style garden is the perfect spot for digging into homemade eats, while the kids can easily roam in this enclosed space. As night falls, head off to the twin or king-size bedroom to recharge before embarking on your next adventure. Enjoy a soak in the shower room each morning before making your coffee and unwinding in the pretty courtyard. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Kelling is a lovely little village that makes the perfect base for all kinds of adventures. Stroll to the nearby pub for a relaxing pint or walk down to the peaceful, unspoiled shingle beach at Salthouse (1.5 miles). The Norfolk Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve marshes are also here, so don't forget your binoculars. Head over to Wells-next-the-Sea (13 miles) for a proper day at the seaside. It's great for families, with wide sandy beaches and some of the best crabbing spots around. And for something extra special, hop on a boat at Blakeney Quay (5 miles away) and take a trip to Blakeney Point. If you're lucky, you might even spot some seals doing tricks.
