Five steps take you down to the kitchen which has an ‘L’-shaped fitted unit with dark surface tops, hints of coastal colours throughout plus a Tassimo coffee machine. On the first floor is a family bathroom plus two bedrooms – a double and a twin. Outside is a patio with furniture.
During your stay in the heart of Whitby, you’ll be within 500 metres of the peaceful Pannett Park where you can also find Whitby Museum. Wander through the town and discover an array of cosy cafes, seafood restaurants and quirky shops (within 0.5 miles). Walk along the River Esk and cross the bridge to reach the old town which has cobbled streets and the 199 Steps which lead up to Whitby Abbey (1 mile). Spend an afternoon stretching out on the canine-welcoming Whitby Beach (0.5 miles) and visit the nearby Waterfall Cottage nature reserve (2 miles), Mallyan Spout Waterfall (9.5 miles) and Little Beck Wood nature reserve (5 miles).
