"Overall if you want peace and quiet and a great base to explore the Broads this is perfect". - Stephen Brinkworth
Sat overlooking the natural beauty of the Norfolk Broads, this modern studio apartment offers a relaxing retreat for two. Lovers of wildlife walks will relish the opportunity to visit the RSPB reserve of Strumpshaw Fen (4 miles) with a lovely 2-mile pathway through reed ponds and beside pretty pools of water to wander.
The open-plan living space is equipped with all you’ll need to enjoy a break away. Boasting a characterful exposed brick-style wall, the compact kitchen has space to cook meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a breakfast bar with two stools providing a place to sit and eat together. A door separates the bathroom from the main living area, sheltering a shower cubicle and heated towel rail in the contemporary room. Stepping outside of the apartment you’ll find a lovely, terraced garden furnished with a table and chairs for al fresco dining as the sun sets.
Make a trip to the market town of Loddon (7 miles) and you’ll find a lovely riverside walk taking you past the River Chet and Hardley Marshes where an abundance of wildlife inhabits the area and adds interest to the trail. Spend more time in nature at Burlingham Woods, soaking up the beauty of the woodland which has sections of both old and new trees dispersed between farmland to explore.
