This destination marks the start and finishing point of the circular Nidderdale Way, a fantastic 53-mile loop that captures the very best of the area’s spectacular AONB scenery. Miniature tea rooms, welcoming pubs and ancient sweet shops line its historic town street, offering refreshments before or after your hike or bike ride. Nearby beauty spots include Brimham Rocks (1.5 miles), Gouthwaite Reservoir (5.5 miles) and Coldstones Cut (6 miles). For day trips to local towns, you’ll find Harrogate (10.5 miles), Ilkley (16.5 miles) and Skipton (19.5 miles) just a drive away.
