Spend a happy morning strolling along the promenade or hiking through ancient woodlands, before you set off to spend the afternoon exploring the charming market town of Dolgellau (10 miles), which sits at the foot of Cader Idris. Alternatively, head to Fairbourne (14 miles) to stroll along the sandy beach and take a trip on its heritage railway. The quiet village of Arthog (11.5 miles) has historic churches and estuary trails.


Step inside your period holiday home and make your way to the open-plan lounge/diner area. Take a moment to make yourself at home in this bright and cheery space, which is overflowing with natural light from the large bay window. Make a beeline for the pretty galley-style kitchen to rustle up some dinner, which you can share with your loved ones at the elegant dining table. Afterwards, take a seat by the wood burner-effect electric fire in the lounge area to catch up on your favourite TV shows, or head out to the games garage for a game of pool. At the end of the day, there are four glamorous bedrooms waiting for you – two king-size bedrooms with sea views, a twin, and a fun bunk room that the kids will adore.
